He's in great form at the moment. Irfan Pathan: was swinging the ball nicely, also did well in slower SL conditions previously. Deserves to keep his place in the Indian side, might even be ready for tests abroad if he can keep swinging the ball. Ojha: if he's hoping to replace MSD behind the stumps, he will have to do better than today. Missed stumpings, missed catches. Agarkar: no chances of a comeback anytime soon. Bisla: Not a good day for him Gambhir: At this rate, he might be axed soon. Wonder if it's time to give someone else a chance to open the innings while Gambhir takes some time out and works on his game. Manoj Tiwary: Good opportunity to strengthen his argument for a spot, he showed maturity but ended up losing his wicket cheaply. Yusuf Pathan: Pretty much the Indian version of Afridi but not as effective at bowling. Bhatia: Not a bad innings, but I can't see him playing for India any time soon (or at all, for that matter). Too many talented players around, and he seems very average. Yadav: Bowled some really good deliveries, really looked like he was enjoying the pace-friendly surface. I hope the Indian cricket authorities were watching this and realize why we don't have more pacers coming through. Guys like Yadav who can bowl like this on pacy pitches are essential when India play abroad. Negi: Bowled well on a pace-friendly pitch, but let's see how he does in tougher situations against better batsmen. Sangwan: who? Summary: Chand continues his great form, Yadav shows promise on foreign pitches and Pathan keeps up his regained form.

Yusuf Pathan looked okish against the short ball, (I nearly fall off my chair when Sunny proclaimed Yusuf is "an excellent puller" :hysterical:). But missed out on some juicy length ball for sixes, which is his strength,

Yusuf Pathan looked okish against the short ball, (I nearly fall off my chair when Sunny proclaimed Yusuf is "an excellent puller" :hysterical:). But missed out on some juicy length ball for sixes, which is his strength, its hard for guy like yusuf to score runs here cos these length balls too bounce so high :cantstop: he missed them all by mile! should adjust his technique

He just had an year or two fun with slogging. Now it is over. Stupid of KKR to invest so much money in him.

Stupid of KKR to invest so much money in him. See the difference in his batting now. He did not use to slog before and will usually play shots at different places while what he is doing is now is trying to play every ball to midwicket, playing cross batted like Afridi used to do. He used to play straight down the ground before. Now, he is rarely playing any shots to off side or over extra cover which he used to play before.

If I remember correctly RCB's win against South Australia last year was the first time an IPL team managed to beat an Australian team which goes to show how poor IPL teams have been in this tournament overall, not just this year.
