EnterTheVoid Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Thank god we don't have to put up with Thackery for much longer, he is reaching the life expectancy of Indian males :yay:

I am supporting Thackeray all the way whether your like it or you dont not my concern.
Swing_n_Speed Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Because Dhimmitude has become a genetic trait among Indians. err what does dhimmitude mean?

Do u even have Indian citizenship in the first place? What kind of moon man talk is that? who the hell in name of all that is holy and mighty are you to question his patriotism? Are you aware of the % of ICF members living in phoren countries?
BeautifulGame Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 GU don't have to explain yourself to anybody here. U are 100% entitled to your opinion. What kind of moon man talk is that? who the hell in name of all that is holy and mighty are you to question his patriotism? Are you aware of the % of ICF members living in phoren countries? Firstly Patriotism isn't defined by making comments online about India or watching cricket matches. People do that because they are passionate about cricket and its entertainment not because they are patriotic about India. Patriotism is about doing something worth while for India doesn't matter whether u are Indian or not atleast in my view and belief. So Iam least bothered about juding his Patriotism. And I questioned whether he has Indian citizenship because he saidlunatics who say every Indian should obtain a permit to enter Mumbai should become PM of India. Mumbai is ****ing part of India or what? I very much doubt too many Indians who earn their livelihood in India would think these lunatics becoming PM is good for India
CSK Fan Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Actually, our ineptitude is much more sinister - a glance backwards into history will tell you how Indians invited foreign forces to fight their internal wars, thus enabling the subjugation of the land and people by foreigners repeatedly. Not to mention the Prithviraj Chauhan syndrome of endless forgiveness for the enemy, a policy that was equally, if not more debilitating. The bad habit of denigrating fellow Indians and praising the enemy will take a long time to abate. Actually it was also people like Thackery who helped the foreigners divide our country. Prithviraj Chauhan might have been at fault, but more at fault were those traitors who for religion, regionalism, etc stood by the enemies and helped them against our countrymen. These mere the men who never allowed our people to be united. We still have many examples of such people (and not surprisingly many NRIs) who will never allow Indians to be united, be it on religion bais like - looking down on muslims, provoking sikhs, or on regional bais, they continue to weaken our country, making it ripe for picking by the enemy

Thackeray (whatever be his methods - desirable or not) is definitely against the enemy.

Someone like Thackrey whose ideologies are against India as a nation is no less of an enemy than Pakistani terrorists.
Prakat Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 My only question is this: Are only Hindu Indians worried about terrorism? Aren't Muslims worried about getting blown to pieces in broad daylight? So why then is the appeal only to Hindus? And do you believe that the Muslims amongst us are ideologically warm to the war against us?
seedhi Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Someone like Thackrey whose ideologies are against India as a nation is no less of an enemy than Pakistani terrorists.Amazing, just amazing .. Sometimes I wonder what sort of conditioning can even lead to such self defeating behavior. I mean, I cannot even think of any American who would equate even the most racist republican politician with (say) Osama Bin-Laden -- whose damage to the US is nothing compared to what pakistan has done and continues to do to India. Any entity or organization, let alone a political party, operating legally within India can never be equated to a nuclear armed, genocidal, jehadi terrorist threat that pakistan is.
Nova Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Where is the OP? He posted this and ran away. Lurking and watching the squabbles of some posters here.. :giggle:
BeautifulGame Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Amazing, just amazing .. I mean, I cannot even think of any American who would equate even the most racist republican politician with (say) Osama Bin-Laden -- whose damage to the US is nothing compared to what pakistan has done and continues to do to India. Please show me a republican politician saying native Americans from other states people (Not immigration people) shouldnt be allowed to enter newyork or Calfornia? Any entity or organization, let alone a political party, operating legally within India can never be equated to a nuclear armed, genocidal, jehadi terrorist threat that pakistan is. Yep he isnt as dangerous as Pakistani terrorists but doesnt make him or his ideologies any less of a threat India as a nation. Sometimes I wonder what sort of conditioning can even lead to such self defeating behavior. And its amazing what sort of environment upbringing can lead to support people like Thackreys and then shamelessly call themselves Indians
seedhi Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Please show me a republican politician saying native Americans from other states people (Not immigration people) shouldnt be allowed to enter newyork or Calfornia?I dont know of any exact replica of Thakeray in the USA, but there have been several racist politicians (Eg. Strom Thurmond who was for segregation). There have politicians who were Klan members. You can see pastors advocating rounding up gays and lesbians and starving them to death. More recently someone spoke about Texas declaring independence. Black radicals have talked of exterminating the whites. There are a lot of crazies to speak outrageous things, but no sane American equates them to Bin-Laden who actually killed 3000 Americans and whose organization continues to direct terror against USA. Also, bear in mind that pakistan has been infinitely more destructive to India than what Bin-Laden did to USA. Yep he isnt as dangerous as Pakistani terrorists but doesnt make him or his ideologies any less of a threat India as a nation.Isnt this a contradiction ?
seedhi Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 And its amazing what sort of environment upbringing can lead to support people like Thackreys and then shamelessly call themselves IndiansLet me clarify I am not a supporter of his methods or even most of his policies. I only object to people equating him to an external threat of the magnitude of pakistan - nuclear armed jehadi terrorist country sworn to the destruction of India.
seedhi Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 A classic example of the mentality that I am talking about was revealed in wikileaks - that when the US Ambassador once asked Rahul Gandhi, only a few months after 26/11, about the threat that LeT posed to India, RG actually told him that RSS and Sangh Parivar were a bigger threat to India than Lashkar-e-Toiba. Can one imagine the reverse happening - would a senior US politician ever discuss white radicals in US with the Indian Ambassador and minimize the threat posed by Al-Qaeda ?
Lurker Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 On the other hand, the pakistani cricket team HAS NO RIGHT OR REASON to be playing in India and earning a fistful of money which will indirectly fund their state's jihad against India. Actually, our ineptitude is much more sinister - a glance backwards into history will tell you how Indians invited foreign forces to fight their internal wars, thus enabling the subjugation of the land and people by foreigners repeatedly. Seedhi saab ek sawaal aapke liye, since you raised the point about Indian inviting foreign forces to fight internal wars. What's your stance on those who stood by foreign forces during 1857 Revolt. Should be a rather sasta, sundar aur tikau jawaab :nice:

Unfortunately, the India of that time was a fractured entity due to centuries of religious conflict and a lot of people acted in their supposed self interest.
beetle Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I don't favor any relations with Pak till they mend their ways and hand over the terrorists. And I can't stand these morons trying to act like a leaders of hindus. To most of us...They are just a bloody nuisance.
Lurker Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 That we should learn from history and not repeat the mistakes. Unfortunately' date= the India of that time was a fractured entity due to centuries of religious conflict and a lot of people acted in their supposed self interest. Who is this "we" you speak of ? And who did make the "mistakes"? How do you not repeat the mistakes if you do not even concede who made the mistakes so they are not rehashed again?? Not trying to put you in a spot but for someone, in this case you, who is quick on the gun to chastise the nation, and its history of supporting external forces for internal reasons (which by the way I agree to), should surely be direct and forthcoming on the question (1857 revolt) then passing a PC comment. No?
