Stop watching T20 - its cr@p and any serious cricket lover can lose interest in the game after watching this format for a long time. Also, avoid India-Lanka matches - they happen too often so it definitely gets boring.

Trust me, I avoid India-Lanka matches. I watch T20 but mainly when team India plays. I watch a bit of IPL here and there but that's about it. Maybe it's the level of competition ( not too many good teams these days) or it's the quality of cricket. Most players these days are injured or not playing because of their stupid board or some T20 leagues

Its lack of competitive test series nothing else, think about the buzz in 2002-2004, 2007 in England, 2008 as good as beating Aus, 2010 beating Aus in India then recently dominating in SA, these are the kinds of games you look forward to, not Pune Warriors v Kochi or as mentioned Ind v SL. Plus i agree we dont have any players to look forward to, apart from Pujara, Kohli and maybe Ashwin.

During 2001-10 , Fab 4 were so consistent that we know if we are batting atleast 300 will be on the board and then there is Kumble-Zaheer.Indai played so many interesting tests during this period. Today I can see only Kohli who is exceptional. No bowler can replace Zaheer or Kumble at the moment. Even 2-0 aginst kiwis was not so exciting, may this series will turn the cards around.

It is the other way round for me. I am losing interest when the T20 season ended and the test season started. Not much excitement.

Felt the same watching too much cra@p T20 cricket. Hopefully the series starting tomorrow and India's tests against the poms re energize me

..... in watching cricket anymore. Is it due to the poor quality of cricket? Flat pitches? Or is it because of the 0-8 and because we still have the same captain, the same set of players who failed over and over again and still yet find a place in the team? :hmmm:

We love heroes. Rightnow we have more villains in our side. Once 7 or 8 players hit form at the same time we will be back to liking cricket.
