I doubt we play 3 spinners,we expect our fast bowler to get wickets and they bowled well in Ahmedabad.

If Ishant is fit, he should play..else play Bhajji. Hopefully there will be some help in the wicket for spinners. Playing Dinda would not be a good option.

Iv not heard anything about Ishant not being fit and if Yadav is out he will be first in line. Id rather play 3 spinners than Dhinda but that probably wont happen.

Pommy batters must be licking their chops at the prospect of facing danda.... I'd much prefer Pankaj singh being the hottest commodity in Ranji this season to pay the poms a surprise visit in case Umesh is declared unfit for Mumbai... But no chance as our selectors like to give an 'extended' run to all useless prospects. I'm surprised they didn't call up veenie or aravind this time

lol yea that's unlucky's problem... he is not a bad bowler at home but he is not a good bowler anywhere too these days Maybe we should re-visit the strategy of playing just 1 seamer and opening with kohli (ala ganguly in the aussie series a while back).

i dont even think it is serious ...why isnt it on cric info ? man i hope he plays atleast next 2 games after that he will get long rest :D when ur in form u should play its injury is not serious...i dont want to play dinda no matter what will even play darty (this coming from me is rare lol ) if ishant has even hint of brain he should have seen umesh bowl and seen his length and how he got wickets...i know they are different bowlers but iwth his height if he pitches even little bit fuller then his normal length he can be awkward

Ishant was out with fever, so surely he'd have recovered by now? No Dinda please. Also after how the pitch flattened out in 1st test Dhoni wont risk playing 3 spinners in any of the other tests I guess.

I hope Umesh is fit if not Ishant should play, Dinda is a honest trier but does not have the skill to play test, he bowls at 133 avg speed, has lost pace in last 4 years, does not move the ball in air or off the pitch much, being 5 6" he does not get much bounce, last two years seeing him bowl it is obvious , Pankaj Singh is bowling better then any bowler I have seen in last one year in domestic, including our test bowlers, he should not only be in the squad but should be playing in the team.

didnt they played 4 spinners? :hysterical: i odnt think he is attacking india though ..some people like pace bowling more..but if turns there is nothing like quality spinners bowling :P
