India keep faith in same squad for Kolkata Test BCCI clarifies that "The teams for the fourth Test and the T20 Intl series, will be picked later." Bowling coach, Joe Dawes, was also part of the selection meeting that took place in Mumbai. India have retained 15 players from the squad that lost to England in Mumbai for the third Test at Eden Gardens, beginning in Kolkata on December 5. Fast bowler Umesh Yadav, who did not play the second Test because of a back injury, was not fit and hence left out.

Stupid decision to contine with Harbhajan. Should have picked a leg-spinner among Chawla, Mishra or Rahul Sharma. Cant see the team doing any better than they did in the second Test.

Ishant will get a nod ahead of Dinda, Bhaji will sit out, and i dont see dinda ever making to this test side, selectors should think ahead of the time and blood in shami into the side, things that he will get to learn from zack is worth gold.

Shows how much the team management , selectors and the BCCI care for poor performances. The problem is if one of them is dropped, questioned will be asked of the selectors on why a few others are being retained. Probably to avoid such controversies, they have decided to play it safe.

dhoni was clearly not pleased with harbhajan being in the team. he gave him just 20 overs and gave the rookies 40 overs each. why would he select harbhajan again ??
