Rohit S. Ambani Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 India keep faith in same squad for Kolkata Test BCCI clarifies that "The teams for the fourth Test and the T20 Intl series, will be picked later." Bowling coach, Joe Dawes, was also part of the selection meeting that took place in Mumbai. India have retained 15 players from the squad that lost to England in Mumbai for the third Test at Eden Gardens, beginning in Kolkata on December 5. Fast bowler Umesh Yadav, who did not play the second Test because of a back injury, was not fit and hence left out. Squad:Gambhir Sehwag Vijay Rahane Pujara Sachin Virat Yuvraj MSD © Ashwin Ojha Harbhajan Ishant Dinda Zaheer
adi B Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Indian squad for the 3rd test virtually no change..only dinda in for umesh.. still the passengers carry on :((
Needforspeed Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Stupid decision to contine with Harbhajan. Should have picked a leg-spinner among Chawla, Mishra or Rahul Sharma. Cant see the team doing any better than they did in the second Test.
Old guy Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 why dinda... i guess he will debut at his home ? i hope shami gets ready qui kly..he is already tearing domestc batsmen apart..got 11 wickets can be our next zack ,and yes i know he is rfm
TheWall Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 ESPN Cricinfo ✔ @ESPNcricinfo whata gambhir, sachin, bhajji doing in the team...:((
R.D forever Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Does dhoni have any say in this?? The way he treated bhajji in the 2nd test , it is clear that he does not want him in the team.
BERGKAMP Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 what a joke, indian team nowadays is an old boys club where it is harder to get out than in no matter what your performance.
Sean Bradley Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Ishant will get a nod ahead of Dinda, Bhaji will sit out, and i dont see dinda ever making to this test side, selectors should think ahead of the time and blood in shami into the side, things that he will get to learn from zack is worth gold.
jairamesh Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 This is disappointing stuff. I give up. I boycott the next two Test matches, won't watching or following it. :giggle:
Number Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Does dhoni have any say in this?? The way he treated bhajji in the 2nd test ' date= it is clear that he does not want him in the team. Selectors have 1% say in the selections.
Nova Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Please play unlucky Ishant... Law of averages will catch up and he might just get lucky.
CG Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Why do we even have these moronic selectors who just want money and are happy,Atleast earlier they used to have presser where they had to defend a selection,Now its gfo to hell attitude of bcci.
saneindian Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Shows how much the team management , selectors and the BCCI care for poor performances. The problem is if one of them is dropped, questioned will be asked of the selectors on why a few others are being retained. Probably to avoid such controversies, they have decided to play it safe.
Deleted_User_1 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 India, as a country is total SHYT, so this is expected................ So another test for SRT without retirement as the average continues to plummet. Wait...I thought he played for records, no??? :winky:
rkt.india Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 India likely to lose this series with so many passengers.
R.D forever Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Selectors have 1% say in the selections. dhoni was clearly not pleased with harbhajan being in the team. he gave him just 20 overs and gave the rookies 40 overs each. why would he select harbhajan again ??
