Jimmy is my hero. Standing up and speaking out against this BS. Lets hope others pluck up the courage. We need hazare revolution in indian cricket. Wont happen though. Now I offically despise IPL. Its ruining indian team in ways we could never have guessed. We all thought it may ruin players skill sets but did not see this happening were players were being picked to boost brand values of franchises owned by BCCI bosses.

OP why you loved him in first place? If you are in 20s and have started watching cricket just 15yrs ago then I see no reason to love or respect him. He was good player in his playing days, but post retirement he has always been cheerleader for 'X' player and region biased! Even for Marathi hardliner like me, His obsession with records/stats is annoying. Just because he has strong command over English, some people rate him as good commentator, he is making everyone chewwtiyya with his good English skills. He has robbed so many other legends, he has taken all credit just because his English is superb. Think hard! In modern times, you can compare him with K Sangakkara, sharp/cunning/intelligent, both have chewwtiyya fan following who go wow on English skills, An inferiority complex. I will take 'Dil Ka Saaf' paindu/Dihaati Jatt boy Sehwaag over Gavaskar/Sanga any day!

BCCI constitution specifically has a clause where the board can block/decide the captain. Captains in India get removed/appointed depending on the support from the board president. Nothing new here. Jimmy is a joker. He wants Dhoni out and the selfish Gambir to lead the team. Even he does not have the guts to say Tendu should go.
