Tiger-Don Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Stop saying Bullshit like its Dhoni who's making this team go down. This guy was here for some time now and he made this team win 2 World Cups, 1 @ home and another @ foreign land. Now its a different story about Duncan Fletcher tho. Before and During the world cup, Indian team and the players looked full of confidence and ready for anything that came there way but now, especially after Fletcher took over, the team moral is nowhere to be found and these guys look scared and lazy. So my question is, is this problem that has grown in the Indian team or was it spread from Indian Cricket?
wanted_desi Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Sehwag - has gotten older. Gambhir - Not same player after that fall in england series on his head Pujara- DOing good, will come out good Tendulkar - Old Man, can't play for his life Kohli - Will come out good sooner or later Jadeja - Might be ok add on Indian Pitches Dhoni - He is still best option for capitan till one of pujara and kohli gain experience Ashwin - Crap Ohja - Not lead spinner Ishant - Why is he still in the team? Zaheer - Has gotten old

I say let these out of form players play some matches in BPL :D They get to smash the little bangla bowlers and get their form back...Little no name sachin can spend some time with his favorite player, Ashraful and can gain some experience and confidence! *wink-wink*:weights::weights:
superstar Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I think the team needs to go through a phase like what happened in 2007. Dhoni, Shewag, Gambir, Zaheer must give up T20 and possibly ODI. For sure they need to be rested for the upcoming ODIs before the AUS series GOD - Must release he is a selfish human and retire Ashwin must be made to do frog jumps through out the ground for his attrocious fielding and also to help him reduce his weight.

vayuu1 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 A lot of things actually you know(lol I did a dhoni)ur openers are found wanting in every condition ,ur no 3 is a rookie who wil take time to settle,ur no 4 is a guy who cannot hold bat to save his life ,ur no 5 says to opponent that come to India and we will show ,barring last inning he hasn't done any thing ,ur no six is non existent ,so is ur no 7 ,coming to ur bowling ,spin was supposed to trap England ,but when u have craps like asswin and chaiwala leading ur attack god bless u and ,the less said about ur captain and fast bowlers ,the better,in other words ur team is officially doomed,I remember a thread made by me during India tour of south Africa when I said we need a strong bench strength to be competitive .
Rohit S. Ambani Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Transition period, nothing wrong with team. VVS and Rahul retired without prior notice.
Utalk Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Transition period' date=' nothing wrong with team. HouMac Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Age/lack of new talent have weakened our batting tremendously over the past 2 years. That's what happened. India's success post-Australia 2001 was based on dominant batting. Once those greats started to decline, and the new guys didn't prove to be too impressive, 300 became a challenging score to reach and we became a laughingstock, because the bowling attack is and always has been ordinary.

mr cricket Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 T20 took over. Players seem to care about t20, because T20=MONEY while test cricket is a dying format.
