Utalk Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 against current indian team.. good..:giggle: rest no use... He performed against all conquering WC 11 winning team. Asia cup again he was outstanding.
Cricket Tragic Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Steady ODI bowler who bowls well against left handers in particular.
Utalk Posted February 1, 2013 Author Posted February 1, 2013 Hafeez is good enough to be the frontline spinner for many international teams. 4/16 in SA on a first day wicket.
panther Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Great v lefties, should always come on when a left hander is on strike.
Iconoclast Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Hafeez + New Ball + Left Hander = Wickets :bhangra:
trundlerNO1 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Maybe Swann, but I personally feel no spinner is better than him against Left handers.
Dumbbells Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 South africans are not good against spinners. I would still say he is not a good test bowler.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Hafeez + New Ball + Left Hander = Wickets :bhangra: Ditto. Around 80% of his dismissals are left-handers.
Utalk Posted February 1, 2013 Author Posted February 1, 2013 South africans are not good against spinners. I would still say he is not a good test bowler. He plays as an opener so does not bowl many overs but when he does bowl his record is good enough. I am sure he averages below 30 since his comeback two and a half years ago.

Sandeep99 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Doesn't chuck. Great discipline. Best spinner in Pakistan!
Utalk Posted February 1, 2013 Author Posted February 1, 2013 Yep' date=' he plays as an opener. Does that mean he is a good test bowler? nope. His record does not suggests that.[/quote'] He averages 24.55 over 19 tests since his comeback in 2010 with SR in mid 60s. That's not a poor return.
Mahaa Raavana Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Rate him very highly... :good: Wily as a fox and those subtle changes are brilliant...Even the greatest of our generation : Sanga ,struggles against him...
vayuu1 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 He is very good ,the advantage he has is ,with his action some deliveries will turn and some won't ,plus he varies his pace and also attack stump,he has become more than just a part timer
Crookbond Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Rate him very highly... :good: Wily as a fox and those subtle changes are brilliant...Even the greatest of our generation : Sanga ' date=struggles against him... :haha:
