CG Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 why does pace even matters now ? its not like we dont have bowlers who can bowl quick i was more excited abt how he manged bowling at death and bowled consistently same with bhuvan...when was last time our new ball bowlers maintained pressure from both ends from commentary i read on cric info he made life of jamshed difficult ..and tht guy is in gr8 form What He bowled length at death against good batting teams he would have been hammered. But he is learning may be he will develop a yorker.But thing is we have to see him against good batting side like eng same with buvi.

But I am looking at shami for tests. Bowls good areas at nice pace with enough movement. Already he makes my test team:giggle:

But he is learning may be he will develop a yorker.But thing is we have to see him against good batting side like eng same with buvi. yes..thing is he got movement even then so it was not a bad option depends on track to how u bowl at death if ur getting movement then it will be hard to hit even length ball but still u have to appreciate how accurate he was .. i wasnt able to see his new ball spell but from commentary looked like he was troubling jamshed a lot and bowled 2-3 maidens i cannot ask for more from debutant defending low score

You dont expect someone playing his first match to bowl perfect yorkers. He did bowl a few full deliveries. Btw, most bowlers will be thrashed on flat tracks but thing is at least bowl well ob helpful tracks which Dinda could not do in first two matches.

His stock ball is outswing to right handers and he barely bowled to right handers with the ball. I have seen him ball peaches to right handers last year in Duleep final.

In Duleep final, he was the one bowler who looked like taking wicket on every ball. While Pankaj, Rituraj, BJ, Dinda all were playing the same match.
