Cricketics Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 How many games do they deserve to show what they got? June is the time when we play next big odi tournament. Champions Trophy. We need to have the best team available till then. Rahane has been good at times in 2020 but in ODI's he has been sort of ordinary when he has come. Yes, nto given proper chances but at this level, sometimes you got to take it. And I am all for giving him one full series of England. But what you reckon, if any of these guys fail in England odi series, should we persist with them and let them have a bigger run or replace them with some other players when that time comes?

Number Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Ashwin was our best bowler in the first ODI was unlucky to not get a wicket because of umpiring errors and no ball. In 2nd ODI too he was really good. Today they were trying to get batsman nicked in the leg slip and probably that's where he lost his radar but he could have got more wickets umpiring error and catch drop. Also he bowls a lot in power-plays, If he improves his fitness and running, he will be one of the best players in the ODI team.

Cevno Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Sharma has already gotten enough oppurtunities and done nought. Pujara and Rahane deserve a long rope. Ashwin is performing well with the ball and has been unlucky this series.
