indiaregulator Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Having looked at the Aussie potential lineups I think its good time to be an England fan :two_thumbs_up: Their top seven most likely going to be Warner (sitting duck in England) Cowan (sitting duck in England) Hughes (sitting duck) Clarke (world class) Khawaja (sitting duck) Watson (decent, but probs going to be injured) Wade (decent) Their backups are going to be Quiney, Maxwell, Steve Smith :hysterical::hysterical: Bowling wise, Pattinson Cummins Starc are going to be very good but they are likely to break down any moment. Their spinner(s) are ****. Predictions?

Old guy Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 england will win it cook is just as good as clarke and kp is back andon fire...then likes of trott and bell are bettter then aussies like hughes and khawaja on paper england winning it easily even bowling line up england have anderson and finn who are world class

As a captain, Clarke is way ahead of Cook. Cook is a horrible Test captain TBH.

SLICKR392 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 batting form :) +1 then Though Cook will have the benefit from his form. He has a lot of players to bat around him unlike Clarke. :agree:

diga Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 @OP: Abe.. first the aussies need to play India & then Ashes. Why create chit threads?? :finger:
its me Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Aus will win.:hysterical: They just don't have the batting to survive in those conditions.
Serani Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 They are going to get a hammering, Clarke only batsman good enough to prosper in England the rest are garbage. Bowling line up is massively over rated too due to SL playing like morons.
Clarke Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Eng is the better team with the home advantage. If for some odd reason the Aussie quicks give them an early lead in the series, they can produce slower tracks with Swann & Monty giving them a big advantage.
panther Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 :hysterical: They just don't have the batting to survive in those conditions. England gonna make flat pitches, there scared of aussie pace battery.
indiaregulator Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 England gonna make flat pitches, there scared of aussie pace battery. If we wanted to go down that route we can make 5 rank turners and play Monty and Swann. Seeing as Lyon is **** and their batsman barring Clarke can't play spin, we'd win with ease. In that lineup, only Clarke can play spin whilst England have Cook, KP, Prior, Compton and Root who are/seem at ease with spin bowling.

When they talk less they perform better.
