Jersey #10 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 The best thing for him that can happen is to be left out of the team' date=' allowed to play a full season , no international cricket only A tours and only [b']after he has piled on the runs recalling him back to the side. So far what hat has happened is he loses his spot, goes back to domestic cricket, scores a 2-3 100s and is immediately recalled. Prolong that time away from the national side to make him realize the worth of that spot and also to reflect upon what he has done so far in the chances he has been given. He would pile on runs. Only when he gets into the national side, he stops piling on runs. Everywhere else he's don bradman He's got above par technique, you can't deny that.
vandokkum Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 This guy seems to be as overrated as Umar Akmal. All this talent talk
CG Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 He is most talented young batsman in the world,He needs to given chances in test and he will do well.
velu Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 every one is defending him..no one joined target achieved :cantstop:
Cevno Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 He is most talented young batsman in the world' date='He needs to given chances in test and he will do well.[/quote'] going ott.

Maybe making him realize what he is being deprived of by keeping him away from the national side would force him to work hard on his temperament. So far he has hardly been away from national side fr a few months, perhaps thats where the complacency sets in. The questions obviously are on his temperament and his mental toughness to handle international cricket.
Lord Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 this speech by Harsha Bhogle defines whats wrong with Rohit obmHUq4F-gs Rohit has the talent, not attitude
NareshK Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Rohit has everything to be a good batsman. He has all the shots in the book, plays the ball late, good on back foot as well as front foot, has good defence, plays short pitch bowling well, plays spin well and a good runner between wickets. Why does he not consistently score runs ? The next time he gets a chance to bat, someone should tell him try to stay at the wicket without trying to dominate the opposition. Respect the opposition bowlers, play out a few maidens if you have to and then runs will come.
Dumbbells Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Lacks upper body strength and his lazy attitude does not take him to places where he should be now.
Lord Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 he just doesnt want to work hard.Yuvraj had the same problem.he admitted it too
maniac Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 These Anti-Fan clubs are distuirbing to see...Looks like we want a player to fail just because of the intense dislike. As a true Indian fan,I would be more worried about the failures of Raohit Sharma, who might be one of the few prodicious talents we produced in the last 5 years than make a mockery out of it.
