It's captain who dictates what happens on the field. So whether win or Loss Dhoni is the one accountable. Just like he deserved huge praise for our WC wins he is responsible for these defeats . Coaches in cricket are only play supportive role nothing more

Ashwin was a little more expensive in his later spells. He bowled first 6 overs and gave 1 run with 5 maidens IIRC. In his last 9 overs' date=' he gave away 40 runs whereas Jadeja and Bhajji were a bit more economical. Maybe that's why he was given less overs.[/quote'] Ashwin was little unlucky as well. Pujara dropped Clark of his bowling in the second spell, similar to Kohli dropping a relatively simple chance at the backward shortleg in the first test of Ashwin's bowling (Clarke again before he even reached double figures). Ashwin could have easily finished with 2-3 wickets in the game. The best thing about his bowling was he was still flighting the ball even when the Aussies tried to attack him. Bajji and Jadeja were bowling flatter which is the reason they were more economical than Ashwin.

But still you never know he might become good. Rarely is a fast bowler the leading wicket taker in an India-Aus series. He was equal 1st with legend killer Bhaji in 08! Bhaji had been leading the previous 2 times but in 2008 Ishant bowled beautifully. He seems to be out of form atm. I still have faith in Ishant :)

Yeah... Ashwin sometimes is expensive than Bhajji, but he flight the ball more and attacking. Not to forget he created chance against Clarke which Pujara dropped. He should have been given 5-6 more overs.
