If he gets fit and starts bowling well again, then maybe he could be selected. I just found out he is still only 29, he looks 35. Is this a Pakistan age ? :hmmm:

Now, they find themselves out of the Indian team. Both the fast-bowlers are a part of the Mumbai Indians and Mhambrey has worked with them. Having been a fast-bowler imself, Mhambrey discusses Patel and RP Singh and what they hold. He says that both are very talented and have good chances of making a comeback into the Indian team in the near future. Indian team needs its fast-bowlers to do well and the team management would watch their progress very closely.

Seems to be making the same mistakes over and over.

On batting pitches in ODIs in India, he was usually good and these bowlers won games for India with their economical bowling. It doesnt matter if someone bowls 150, he will still get taken for runs if he gives a little bit of room or bowls just a little short on these pitches. In fact, the quicker you bowl easier to hit because on a slow pitch, the ball comes at the right pace for batsmen to play shots.

Everyone knows Munaf is no Steyn or has the fitness of him but if he bowled like he did in 2010-11 in ODI's he would valuable in the current setup, his tight lines and ability to bowl under pressure is something no one currently has. Was he really the most unfit player in the WC?!? I dont think so and seeing how Ashwin fielded in the first ODI he cant be any worse.

They have ruined his career. I'm convinced that the next country to achieve true dominance like Australia in the early 2000s and West Indies in the 1980s will be the team who conquers injuries for fast bowlers.

Zak is still going to be important for the national team especially in SA which is why he has been recalled for the A team. 2011+ Munaf is one of my favourite bowlers in ODI's due to his line and length, no one else apart from Zak who you can rely on and feel confident when he is at his best and bowl in hand. Still plenty of yrs left hopefully he gets chances
