diga Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 why doesnt TN have mofussil centers unlike Karnataka/Andra? Why is ccricket only in Chennai & not in other centers? Inspite of being BCCI president, Srini Mama has done little to spread cricket in TN

G_B_ Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Thats one good thing about Maharashtra plenty of stadiums in the state, Mumbai itself has 3 stadiums. Pune 1 and Nagpur 1. I do believe there is a new one going to come up at Nashik. With the recent infra boost its no wonder people like Kulkarni, Rahane, Umesh, Rohit are popping up. If they grab their chance its another issue. But these guys are young and on the cusp.

He is only 27/28 and IMO will be in a possible to make it count when Dhoni calls quit from tests (which imo will be soon) Players from TN though need to be brought up on better pitches. I saw the ranji final last year and it was a road. These types of slow and low pitches dont suit anybody. On player laziness, i dont know. But i did notice that Ashwin got married and you can see he has put on the pounds and quite a bit of weight.
