No pacer with some reputation world wide (though I rate Ishant), sole spinner of repute has been selected on the basis of what he did some 12 years ago, openers have been selected in wrong format (Vijay and Dhawan). Jadeja occupies no. 6 position. And then we have a captain who is in team itself because of his personal relationships. However can't blame selectors much as their first preference would always be to stay employed.

For a moment, even I forgot that we have an eternal gaddha in the team.

express bowling Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Bhuvi and Shami should have been tried in Irani Cup and seen who is better in the longer version. One thing that bothers me is that two new balls are used in ODIs. Bhuvi has been good in the early part only and that too with 2 new balls. When only one ball will be there and it will be used for atleast 80 overs , how will Bhuvi fare ? This should have been checked in the Irani cup.

No, they will probably deteriorate, slow down and make it tougher for batsmen to play shots, assist spin, have inconsistent bounce etc. Chennai and Hyderabad in Summer will have dry conditions.

Hopefully australia thrash us 4-0 so there is a complete humiliation

There is a real lack of quality all, throughout the team, from openers to mid order to the bowling. Aus should be licking their lips as its their best chance of racking up an easy series win. Ind with dhoni and fletcher are a bankrupt team both physically and mentally. Another home series defeat beckons. lol! i love ur posts man!! :icflove:
