Best bowled consistently 150k, averaging over 145k and this is not the first time, even in England when even Steyn struggeled to clock 140, he was clocked 150, and in WI too. He on his own destroyed BD batting in test series on slow pitches last year. he has been a revelation since his come back last year.

Jersey #10 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I watched some video on science of pace bowling and they said that the maximum swing can be achieved at the speed of 113 mph. I guess at that speed, it becomes more predictable which is why the guys who bowl around 135-145 are considerably more successful.

express bowling Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 + 10 ishant clocking 150+ on aussie speeds guns barely crosses 145 on indian speed guns. Actually Ishant was bowling 135 k to 147 k last season on Indian speed guns too. Then he had the ankle operation and is not back to full pace yet. What has been your experience regarding pace, with Pak pacers touring Australia ? Most Aussie pacers bowl way slower when they are playing outside Australia.
