carnish Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 this could be the only one you r talking about 15.2 Harbhajan Singh to Warner, no run, appeal for lbw as this doesn't turn at all, but seems to be headed down leg This is the one he is talking about.

PBN Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 now that we're nitpicking. Here's the delivery. The cricinfo commentary is wrong imo. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3USsE-T4V8]Harbhajan LBW appeal against Warner 15.2 - YouTube[/ame]
King Tendulkar Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Bhaji is ridiculous selection. Even as all know one of his biggest supporters in me does not want him in. Just shows how bonkers indian cricket and selction has become. I despair at what is happening
Lord Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 that wasnt plumb by any means lol@ Bhajji's face after that:cantstop:
PBN Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 that wasnt plumb by any means hmmm... pitched in line struck in line struck low on the pads going to hit the stumps what's missing? lol chalo, too much time spent on one call. we can agree to disagree. Like I said before, apart from this call, he should have still done better than what he bolwed.

Just shows how bonkers indian cricket and selction has become. I despair at what is happening Bhajji was not ridiculous selection. After shameful performance of Indian spiinners against England , India don't have much option left.A gamble of tried and tested spinner who has taken 408 wickets and is only 32 is worth taking. Its just that this gamble did not pay in first innings

Trichromatic Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Ball still has a long way to go. Long way to where?
vandokkum Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Pretty sure he has Dhoni/ Selectors' tapes.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Long way to where? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

YUP .. that looked Plumb in replays but watching life it somehow seems to be drifting down leg side because of the stride. Enough doubts to give that OUT.
shortbread Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 The only way harbhajan's darts can threaten the OZ's, is if one of his die hard fans were umpiring. What I hate even more is this ridiculous theories to mask the fact that he's a lost cause: Harbhajan is a confidence bowler Hes completely different if he takes an early wicket He is trying to limit the flow of runs His wings get in the way of his bowling arm etc...etc.... The guy has played a 100 tests, A 100!!!! One marginal decision, an off day, etc..etc...are part and parcel, its understandable if these things happened to a young player or debutant, but after a 100 tests and still struggling, Sorry mate that spot belongs to someone more deserving.
vvvslaxman Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Bhajji was trying to take clues from Panesar' date=' but Panesar gives big rip to the ball and is more accurate, does not bowl short and wide and long hops even if he bowls quicker through the air.[/quote'] Panesar's trajector was much much better. Bhajji's balls were delivered at perfect height for a batsman. They had time to decide whether to go back or forward. Good spinners confuse batsman whether they can go forward or backward with drift, flight, turn. Bhajji probably had a bit of turn. But rest of the things were pretty messed up. They were at absolute ease. No woner Dhoni didn't give him ball again. Not sure how he looked on TV. When you watch directly he looked distinctly ordinary. I would have been shocked if he had taken a wicket.
Ankur Upadhyay Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 His bowling has been ordinary for quite sometime now.. How the hell is he getting so many chances?? Indian selectors..:whack::whack:
