The Outsider Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 If it was between Ojha and Jaddu' date=' he could have said that the one who is not from CSK is always the better one! Now, [i']Ashwin and Jadeja to dono CSK ke hai.. :hmmm: So a difference of 0.5 in average makes up for the extra 8 wickets Ashwin has taken?:hysterical:
Sidhoni Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 So a difference of 0.5 in average makes up for the extra 8 wickets Ashwin has taken?:hysterical: Ashwin has bowled more overs. :dontknow: And as I mentioned, most important wicket has been taken by Jaddu 5 times.

SLICKR392 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I wonder what Outy has to say. Even Dhoni haters hate him now! :haha: If that's directed to me then I don't hate Dhoni or Outy. :whack:
Sidhoni Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 If that's directed to me then I don't hate Dhoni or Outy. :whack: What! Didn't you see the quotes in the post? Wasn't directed to you.
SLICKR392 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 This lizard guy is thd most moronic poster on this site.even ie jadeja takes 10 wickets and scores a fifty he will still not be satisfied No, because we need to find a good spinner/AR oversees and Jadeja is not the one for that. He is only good at SC and SC is not where our problem lies.
bharat297 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Does Ojha turn the ball more than Ashwin? Ojha's strength is that he is a left arm spinner and right handers will always find it hard to face a left arm spinner on a track where the ball is turning from the stumps. Yes Ojha's stock ball turns more than Ashwin's stock ball. Ashwin will struggle to turn it outside the subcontinent whereas Ojha will probably do better outside the subcontinent in terms of turn.
The Outsider Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Oh my I love you all for these ad hominem attacks.:yay:
Lord Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 No' date=' because we need to find a good spinner/AR oversees and Jadeja is not the one for that. Ojha only turns the ball when there is help from the pitch. He may have turned his stock ball more but only on helpful tracks. If yo had watched Irani trophy match on a flat Wankhede track, he struggled to turn a single ball.

Ashwin will struggle overseas again. Ojha even carved it up on greentops in England in County Cricket. It's Ashwin that needs the assistance from the pitch. That's why he's lethal at home and struggles overseas.

County second division for Surrey and you know the standard of batsmen playing spin there. Guys like Chawala are world beater there. Ojha does not give enough rip to the ball. Ashwin gives it more. Ashwin uses his body more than Ojha with more pivot. Ojha just drops the ball onto the pitch and lacks the pivot and pitch does the rest for him. If he was that good, he would not have been thrashed in Irani trophy match. If Ashwin wont do much abroad then even Ojha too wont be better than him.

rkt.india Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Abroad ojha might do better holding job than ashwin.Ashwin is more attacking spinner of the two but ojha is more accurate. that is why he went for double the runs in the first innings than even Jadeja. If you want a bowler who can do holding job, there is no better than jadeja. He is the most accurate bowler.
Crookbond Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Abroad ojha might do better holding job than ashwin.Ashwin is more attacking spinner of the two but ojha is more accurate. Abroad Pujara will be a better bowler than Ashwin and Ojha. Since, we are making random assertions least we can do is be funny!
CG Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Abroad Pujara will be a better bowler than Ashwin and Ojha. Since' date=' we are making random assertions least we can do is be funny![/quote'] where does pujara come in to the picture. ganguly also had said ojha might do a better job abroad.
Crookbond Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 where does pujara come in to the picture. ganguly also had said ojha might do a better job abroad. Give me one good reason you think in current form Ojha will do better than Jadeja abroad.
CG Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Give me one good reason you think in current form Ojha will do better than Jadeja abroad. Ojha has more experience and has been india most consistent bowler in past year ,Yes his form has dipped but he can come back.Guess We will have to wait and watch what ojha does if he gets a chance .
Crookbond Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Ojha has more experience and has been india most consistent bowler in past year ' date='Yes his form has dipped but he can come back.Guess We will have to wait and watch what ojha does if he gets a chance .[/quote'] Exactly - which means that there's a chance that Jadeja can perform better than Ojha depending on form. I will be more than happy if Ojha comes back and performs better than Jadeja. It just augurs well for Indian cricket.
CG Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Btw I would ashwin even away as i prefer attack to defence. But i would also like to give ojha a chance abroad ,May be play 2 spinners when pitch is suitable.
