moniker Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 MS Dhoni doesn't back out-of-form players: VVS Laxman Media going to give it a nice spin now :) :OMG: Forget quoting someone out of context, that was a blatant lie. Poor Laxman! If I was him I'd take action.
CG Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Going through the article, what VVS is suggesting is Bhajji should have bowled more to gain more confidence! So were we trying to givemore confidence or trying to get them out? Were 20 overs y'day not enough for Bhajji to find his rhythm? Hardly looked like taking a wicket and was leaking 4 rpo. Jadeja and Ashwin were the two best bowlers and naturally started the bowling in the morning session. From the last session y'day, Jaddu's figures were 17-6-24-2, with two plumb lbw shouts denied and a catch dropped off his bowling. No reason why he shouldn't have bowled more than Bhajji. So why did dhoni pick him surely he recent form has been average.Bhuvi and ishant were poor and on this pitch bhajji really had more chance than ishant and bhuvi.
Trichromatic Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 So why did dhoni pick him surely he recent form has been average. Fanboiz theory Well, BCCI already tweeted the day before that Bhajji will play in his 100th test at Chennai. So there was no way he was going to be dropped. There wasn't any press conference in which Dhoni said that Bhajji would be playing so I am guessing that was just an imposed selection. And I don't think that Dhoni favors Harbhajan because if that was the case, then Bhajji wouldn't have bowled the no. of overs that he did -- he would have bowled many more. There is no way anyone can defend this decision of not picking Ojha in the team, but I think there might be more to it than meets the eye. BCCI officials might be involved.
Lord Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 :hysterical: Dhoni owns Bcci. more like Bhajji owns BCCI who own Dhoni:hmmmm2:
vamos_rafa Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Now we got to decide, Bhajji is picked as he has the Rhtiti connection but does not get to bowl coz Dhoni does not want to give him kaanfidence. It's pretty simple is not it? As per Dhoni's captaincy, which anyways is pretty baffling, did anyone find Clarke's captaincy albeit too baffling at times?
kubrickian Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 more like Bhajji owns BCCI who own Dhoni:hmmmm2: He has made it large. He can play anytime he wants. Screw Dhoni and BCCI.
Shunya Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 lolwa ho gaya laxman ka....i heard it live as well...as saneindian said...it was more being sympathetic towards bhajji since they have played together for years...it was no way critical of Dhoni as media is showing... but as always media shows what some ppl wanna see...controversy controversy :P
vamos_rafa Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Also, bhajji was the spinner who was given the ball ahead of the other 2. That's enough to show confidence in a bowler. It's a different matter that he was dishing out cr@p right left and center.
Crookbond Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 At times, these conspiracy theories are amazing!
Desi Cartman Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Major problem at ICF, almost everybody hates bhajji and majority dislike msd so whom do they side with in this case ?
shortbread Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Is VVS trolling for the aussies, cos according to his theory dartbhajan should bowl a lot more overs, building the confidence of rival batsmen, they score more runs and loose fewer wickets??!:hmmm:
shuraim Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 looks like Laxman is not on Bcci payroll yet, valid arguements
Vilander Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Just agreeing with cricket-God here. Particuarly the morons who insist on calling the world t-20 a world cup you mean a certain green team..:omg:
