SLICKR392 Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 But Karthik is better batsman. :giggle: Oh yes he is. Have you seen the technique and talent the guy possess? Averages a might 27-29 in FC too.
Sidhoni Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 And all that despite refusing at least 30 singles! On your face, haters! :finger:

CG Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Great Knock similar to his knock against Pak.If we do not win now It will be a miracle.
carnish Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Dhoni Rocks ... Haters SUCK. I hope he gets to 218 ... That will make him the highest scorer as Captain for India. Would love that. And mind it, its not the best pitch to bat on certainly not a highway even though its a little flat.
Vanarp22 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 And all that despite refusing at least 30 singles! On your face, haters! :finger: I'm not a hater, I'm just saying Dhoni shouldn't be captain
Dumbbells Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 He is a superb striker. No doubt abt it. But still he is not fit for test captaincy.
Trichromatic Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Oh flat pitches, home conditions and like his many other innings he scored only when others had scored good runs!
PBN Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Gotta give credit for this innings to Dhoni. Didn't watch the entire innings, only upto when he was in the 80s. His counterattack after Tendulkar got out shifted the match in India's way. Btw, it's funny how the Aussies didn't know how to bowl to him
Bumper Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 A career defining knock. This is the sort of innings you back a star player for. He put on a clinic on "How to bat with the tail". There are very few batsmen who are this good at batting with the tail (I recall one of Jayasuriya's innings vs Pakistan, which was somewhat similar). Dhoni still needs to improve overseas to shut his critics up. And those who were bagging Dhoni's defensive captaincy, what do you guys think of Michael Clarke ? The dude had Pattinson, the main striker bowling without slips with India 150 behind. Some bizzare tactics by Clarkey. I heard some Aussie commie mention that this is a conscious tactic from Aussies to cut down boundaries. Had Dhoni done this (albeit his poor bowling resources), he'd have been shelled. His captaincy may suck, but as a wicket keeper batsmen he'll walk into any all time Indian XI any day of the week. Playing Bhajji was a shocker. I hope this is the last time this turd ever dons the Indian jersey. There's still plenty of work left with just one strike bowler in our arsenal, but at least India has batted like India in home conditions against a decent opposition after a long time.
kubrickian Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Gotta give credit for this innings to Dhoni. Didn't watch the entire innings, only upto when he was in the 80s. His counterattack after Tendulkar got out shifted the match in India's way. Btw, it's funny how the Aussies didn't know how to bowl to him When Australia scored 380, I thought India will crumble under pressure because anything above 350 in Indian conditions is a decent score. With Sachin getting out in first session and run rate slowing down considerably and only Jadeja and the tail to come, Aussies were clearly on top. But hatsoff to Dhoni for coming out with an aggressive approach and putting the pressure right back on the bowlers. Lyon in particular struggled to find his rhythm and looked ineffective from that point. Master stroke is when new ball was taken, he went after the bowlers and scored as many as 50 runs in 6 overs. Also, brilliant batting with the tail. This is not a flat track by any means. Its a sluggish pitch where runs are hard to come by and the odd one is stopping and turning. Dhoni did well because he knows these conditions very well as he plays for CSK. Barring him, none of the other batsmen could score runs comfortably. He scored as many as 206 runs out of 319 scored after he walked in.
Pakistan Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Is this the fastest double hundred? He might even break the record for highest score for a wicketkeeper.
