I have to admit that I was very skeptical about his inclusion before the SA tour but that tour changed my views about him. Gotta give him a lot of credit for the kind of composure he has shown as a test opener.

He is still playing without moving his feet. Not sure why these players don't fix their technique to take their game to the next level.

I wish it was that easy to fix the things .... most often than not, if u start fixing the major problems, you end up loosing the confidence and not scoring at all ...... He is a front foot player and back foot play is not his forte ..... He is doing few things right ...... like leaving the ball outside off-stump......to do this, you need to know where ur off-stump is ...... and he is doing this beautifully well ..... As long as he can continue doing this, he can be successful all over the world (i mean atleast give good starts ---consuming most of the new ball) ..... For india, it's imperative as we have enough players down the order, who can capitalize on the good starts ....

Technically VIjay is excellent. Back foot, front foot and all round the wicket. He has a chance to do well overseas. Dhawan is more suspect
