suraj Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I wish Dada is placed under state arrest n Bengal where his fanboys can worship him forever as long as none of his actions and words make it out of that state to rest of India Pathetic political weasel causing disharmony after retirement :finger:
Trichromatic Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 It's good if Dhoni is behind exclusion of Sehwag. I wish he does same for Ishant.
game_changerr Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 "People have a very short memory. I am amazed at some people lauding team India's recent efforts. They seem to have forgotten that we were badly drubbed in 10 out of 13 test matches we last played," read the full article,,,,,,he later on highlighted the whitewashes(defeats) which was recieved under dhoni....wats the point of digging old grave,,,,especially now
Dumbbells Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 2 test wins on dusty pitches and poeple are ready to forgive dhoni. Way to go ****ers.
Pagalpanti Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 He's amazed to see people lauding team India's recent efforts? Why, should we still weep over the 8-0 and keep losing? I mean what do these phecking whingers want? We keep losing so he can keep whinging how Dhoni is not a good captain.
Junyfan Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 i agree with sarovu ,but i am sure that sehwag and gambir will open late this year ,that is just rest for players and medicine for media
Texan Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 So, when Ganguly says India has lost all these matches, has he forgotten that Sehwag was part of this losing streak and that the lack of runs from Sehwag was one of the contributing factors to the defeats?
gakgupta Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 i dont think sehwag is dropped.....i believe he is send back to domestic to fix the issue with his batting...esp he is completly out of sorts with his specs....after couple of good outings he will be back
express bowling Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 It is my personal opinion that Sehwag should be dropped. But Ganguly too is entitled to his opinion just like everywhere else. No point in attacking him for voicing that. It is great that we are back to winning at home. But the reasons that caused the 2 consecutive 0-4 defeats still persist largely. That needs to be rectified too.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Ex-players should be the last people to make such kind of unsubstantiated and speculative statements. Maybe they gotta remember how it was when they were playing and others used to make such sort of statements. It only ends up hurting the ex-players as they lose respect from the fans. Didn't expect such an irresponsible statement from Ganguly of all people and I hope all these ex-players learn to keep their pie-holes shut.
1983-2011 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 2 test wins on dusty pitches and poeple are ready to forgive dhoni. Way to go ****ers. What did u expect lol
Trichromatic Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 What did u expect lol He expects that next time Dhoni wins the toss and decide to bat first on a batting track, then we criticize him for doing even that just because we can't forgive him for the losses.
adi B Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 There is nothing wrong in what he said. If Sehwag is dropped there are other players too which should have been dropped. i agree, what wrong did he say? more so,i think he feels who will open the innings now,2 hacks? dhawan and vijay? the replacements should have been better or sehwag could have been played in all 4 test matches
adi B Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Dhoni has done well in the series so far and Sachin got a half century. Sehwag has done zilch in this series and got dropped.. I wonder what's the reason for all this hue and cry over him? yup similarly sachin and dhoni did zilch in the first 2 tests vs england, sehwag was in good form with a decent nz series,100 in ahmbad..why didnt the 2 get dropped? i for one am not disputing sehwag getting dropped but sachin and dhoni were also poor vs england, they didnt get dropped, different yardsticks for different individuals eh?
CG Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Ganguly always has backed bhajji,Shewag. But He speaks sense .You got to be an idiot to think dhoni does not have say in selection .He Most probably is the real chairman of the selection panel. Shewag did well in the eng series was unlucky with few runouts and good deliveries. But his catching suffered and attitude was lethargic.I have no problems with shewag being dropped but really same standards should apply for all players and not selectively .
The Dark Horse Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Ganguly can take his cronies and form a team somewhere himself....Blind backing of a selective group of players irrespective of form has been his thing.
CSK Fan Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Maybe we need Ganguly as a coach to keep dhoni's power in check?
CSK Fan Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 yup similarly sachin and dhoni did zilch in the first 2 tests vs england, sehwag was in good form with a decent nz series,100 in ahmbad..why didnt the 2 get dropped? i for one am not disputing sehwag getting dropped but sachin and dhoni were also poor vs england, they didnt get dropped, different yardsticks for different individuals eh? No one got dropped after England series. They jhave started being strict now BTW, showing commitment, desire to improve through practise and commitment to fielding is also very important aspects to a captain. If two players are equally bad, wouldnt you chose the one who actually works hard to improve and is commited on the field and pitch?
