Not wanting any oldies in team now, we must go with youth for 1 year and develop a team to be No 1 again 1 Dhawan 2 Vijay 3 Pujara 4 Rahane 5 Kohli 6 Rohit 7 Saha 8 Ashwin 9 B Kumar 10 Ishant 11 Yadav Reserve bats Rayudu Spinner Oijha Seamers Shami-may pick him over Ishant

There are 8 months in between - ever fathom that things can change in that period? Discuss all you will but live in the present. Tour of SA is important but the team to be picked can be done in the next season around August/September.

NareshK Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Its still 8 months away. Lot can happen in that time and there's plenty of cricket in between. One suggestion is BCCI should make Indian team play a lot in conditions where ball moves around (seam and swing) and where pitch helps pace and bounce. Otherwise, we will be dead ducks overseas because of lack of exposure. This is not just for SA tour but also for tours to NZ, Eng, Aus, World Cup which is coming up in next couple of years.
