If India wins Toss, do we bat first or bowl first against SA?

  1. 1.

    • Bat First - we are more relaxed batting first
    • Bowl First - chase is hard, but only option against SA

VOTE in the poll above Against SA it seems bowling first and chasing is a good option, since if SA bat second, they chase down any target (they also chased 434 in ODI vs Aus!, not that it matters here too much) On the other hand, INDIA seems to struggle under pressure when batting second. Our chases have not been that great. We seem to play more relaxed when we bat first. What do we do? Catch 20 in 20-20? Cast your vote in the poll.

We should chase... the outfield in the nite was wet with dew.. and holding the ball wud be difficult.. mebe thts y uvi dropped a sitter and RP tripped over... and thts y bowlers r smacked all over... we shud chase, was it wud be tough to bowl in the nite

India has never lost bowling first. SA has 2 successful chases - WI and NZ. They have defended 150 against Eng. I think they chased against Zi,. We bat first , even 225 is not enough. So, we chase this time. Even 160/170 is chaseable with India's batting. I would go with the same 11 as we won today.

INDIA MUST CHASE !!! In addiiton to what i said in the other thread, bear in mind that the last four victories India have had over SA (in ODI's) were chases ! They lost everytime they batted first. DHONI, STOP FONDLING AROUND WITH YOUR UGLY HAIR AND READ MY F*CKING POSTS :D

20/20 circus is fixed. India will bat first' date=' score 188 and win by 24 runs.[/quote'] After India's exit in the 50-50 WC its probably ICC backed by now :hysterical:
