The main diff was aussie did not have a batting lineup.They really messed up badly playing smith,moses .h,maxwell.If aussie had selected proper batsman those who get consistent runs in domestic cricket they would have played well.You just need good tecnique guys like siddle,pattinson were looking far better because they had basics right.Also their fast bowling attack was rendered ineffective by the pitches ,even reverseswing was missing in the series.

Regarding marsh u got to back players who u think have talent and march hit a 100 in a tour game recently problem is there good players at home are awful vs spin and smith actually has decent temperament against spinners he is probably 10 x the player vs spin compared to hughes and khawaja.. its totally different game here in india compared to bouncy tracks in australia.. they dont have legends like hayden anymore and selected best team for conditions.. and u have to admit smith looked better then most of top order player vs spin..
