The rankings are fair except Ind/England. I think that England are a better side than India. A hammering of Australia should place England back to second. I think that India, Australia and Pakistan aren't at a dissimilar level in test cricket. All good at home/UAE but pretty spineless abroad in recent times. WI have the talent to be up there too but they need a good run. It doesn't help that they're not playing many tests these days.

agree I think India-Aus-Pak are at the same level in test cricket at the moment. The coming years might be musical chairs when it comes to positions 3-5

whoa!! we are feckin 2nd in tests :omg:,all those hammerings we got i guess were neutralized by the massive 128 points we amassed while we were #1.. we were 5th last august with 106 pts i guess then we had the home cycle of tests where we won 2 vs kiwis,1 vs poms,4 vs aus so we gained good points and pak ,aus lost heavily.. either way england/aus will go above us after the ashes

Possibly but they have a pretty dangerous bowling attack and have the talent to score runs. Just need some consistency.

I do think so in tests. Pakistan are capable of winning at "home" v all the nations but not really away in tests (49 ao and Cape Town losing from a winning position). India and Australia are similar but I predict India will put up a better fight in SA than the other two with the bat. India v Pakistan over a 5-match test series would be intriguing providing the pitches aren't dead tracks.
