Gautam Gambhir diminishes M S Dhoni's Team India triumph over Oz?

You can't be shouting 'revenge' one day and running down the same achievement next day. What he's saying is correct but, at least to me, coming soon after all those chest thumping tweets, it doesn't sound quite right.
What's wrong in that? You cheer for the team on a day of victory and you want them to do better the next day. Isn't this what Ganguly does while he shows up in the news channels? Atleast he did not whine like Raina did after he was dropped and tweeted of working much harder.

My personal aim has always been to be a member of the overseas Test series winning squad and score runs in team's victory," Gambhir said at the launch of a new cricket portal CricLan.com.
This tells us that he is not happy and thinks he will make India win all the matches (if selected) overseas! Hilarious!!

Wasn't he the one shouting 'revenge' on his twitter page and egging his ex teammates on to go for a 4-0 whitewash? Or was that a naughty nephew again?
Because he was part of the 'badla' gang. Nothing wrong with screaming 'revenge' and saying that we need to prove ourselves overseas. Not so contradictory really.

As usual media making a news out of nothing. Gambhir just said India needed to win abroad as well. And they again bring up the non-existent Gambhir-Dhoni feud

Gambhir did get a century in the tour game. Can't say he wouldn't have got runs.
How many overs pacers bowled to him? check that first.

He has become a retard now' date=' venting his frustration like this rather than performances only tells what kind of a person he is. He was thrown out of the team and then team won, he can't digest that fact!![/quote'] ++

What has that got to do with this? If he is a retard, so are you and everyone out here who thinks performing at home doesn't make you the big daddy even though you are ranked #1 or #2. And that might be your mentality of being jealous when the team performs. Follow his other tweets, do your homework and then comment. Nothing wrong in what he said. Should cherish the 4-0 as its big after the tough times we had before it but performing oversees, winning 1-0 in SA is much sweeter than winning 4-0 or 5-0 at home.
Is he really happy? Check the lines he has spoken expressing his happiness at the win and compare it with the other lines he has said. So according to you we shouldn't be enjoying this 4-0 win, rather criticize the team for not winning overseas and continue to do so if they lose next time as well.

Did you see his previous tweets? Seems like you did not. So do that first before making up your own stuffs about him being happy or not and what a misleading title. Where did he criticize? Show me a single point where he criticized the side? This has been something that most retired and current players have been saying. Performance oversees matter than the wins at home. Just because that title says that he is diminishing Dhoni's win people go nuts with baseless statements. One hellova fan base we got! :hatsoff;

He was still out of form and I wouldn't have picked him in the side after that ton but he was atleast determined and scored a ton and he face enough no. of quicks and in India its how well you play against the spinner not quicks.

Nothing wrong with this statement, the one he made back in Australia was the stupid one. However, you do have to question whether he would have made this statement had he been part of the team.

As a part of the team, he would have perhaps commented on Dhoni getting the chase a little too close at Mohali :winky: Gauti has been hurt ever since Dhoni rubbed it in after the WC final by saying GG himself was to blame for missing a WC fnal 100..something which was totally uncalled for and in a sense triggered their ego battle

Of course the guy is bitter. Would have never said that, if he had played. Sour grapes. The irony is if he and the useless She-wag played, India would never have won the series 4-0. That is the bottom line. So suck it up buddy boy!!!
