Texan
Among recent bowlers, Mithun seems to be the worst I have seen. Never been a fan of Nehra either. His run-up looked like a malnourished kid trying to run towards food. Link to comment
adi B
yohanan played the home series vs england in 2001,wasnt he thrown out after whingakara smacked him in england Link to comment
Crookbond
How come such luminaries as Bhupinder Singh Sr.' date=' David Johnson, Harvinder Singh, T Kumaran, Tinu Youhanan etc. get left out?[/quote'] and we have Chetan Chauhan just because he got hit of a six on the last ball! Link to comment

Crookbond
that was Chetan Sharma' date='Chauhan was an opener[/quote'] Arrey he meant Chetan Sharma but he wrote Chauhan and I didn't want to correct him. :--D Link to comment
Ultimate_Game
and we have Chetan Chauhan just because he got hit of a six on the last ball! Chetan Chauhan was an opener, and yeah Chetan Sharma wasn't even close to one of the worst we had. Among recent bowlers, Mithun seems to be the worst I have seen. Never been a fan of Nehra either. His run-up looked like a malnourished kid trying to run towards food. Mithun and Unadkat are still playing. Once they are done they will be front-runners as well for the honor. And Nehra was pretty decent and nowhere near the worst we have seen. Kuruvilla debuted too late according to some experts. Maybe he should have been held back more. He was as cr@p as they come. debashish mohanty abhay kuruvilla Mohanty made Anwar his bi@tch in mid 90s IIRC. He made the ball talk in the early overs and Anwar had no clue facing him in Sahara series held in Toronto. Where's Ajit Agarkar on the list? Pls check out Agarkar's odi stats. He's one of our best odi bowlers ever  Link to comment
I6MTW
I am not talking about old Agarkar. I'm talking about current. Current Agarkar is one of the worst. Link to comment

Ultimate_Game
Because he will be considered in squad. Then you may as well go with Kapil and Srinath coz the current lot would be considered in the squad  The thread is not about who would suck now but those who were pretty poor even at their peak and still managed to play for India. Likes of Bhupinder SIngh Sr., Youhanan, Kumaran, Kuruvilla etc. Even at their peak they were cr@p. Not so with Agarkar, Chetan Sharma or Prasad. Link to comment

Texan
Where's Ajit Agarkar on the list? He was one of our best ODI bowlers. Unfortunate victim of a failed WC campaign. I don't know why there is so much hate for Agarkar. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
India has produced plethora of crappy fast bowlers. Some had their moments. Some had a long career. Some never had even moments. Kapil, Srinath, Zaheer,Ghavri, Irfan, Ishant - 6 guys have got 100 plus wickets . Last 3 are average. But Ghavri was not just a medium pacer. He could also bowl spin. Prabakar, Prasad,Madanlal, Sharma, Aggy, Binny - these guys come next level.. less than 100 wickets. Among them Aggy averages 47.32. Very appalling in tests. Then we have these 1 or 2 series wonders like RP singh, Balaji etc. EPIC FAILS like Balwinder singh sandhu Raju Kulkarni Tinu Yohanan Harvinder SIngh VRV singh A Mithun Atul Wassan T.A.Sekar list is very very long. Ultimate_Game
Ishant Sharma at his peak was good wicket taker. Yet, he was voted the most. When was that peak? I seemed to have missed it :giggle: As far as I've seen him he has always been unlucky except for a series or two against a cr@ppy WI team. But yeah he's still not as bad as some of the cr@ppy bowlers we have seen but he's clearly the worst one to have played so long (50 Tests). Link to comment
Dumbbells
I don't know why people are including TA sekar in this list. I have heard that he is the fastest bowler India has ever produced. Its not his fault that his career ended after injuries. Link to comment
