Square Drive Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 SL batsmen and their love for 30-odd ODI averages Chandi has done tremendously well outside Asia to get a good ODI average. But the bugger seems to have found a way to balance his figures and continue his country's tradition :hysterical::hysterical: His average in Asia is whopping 15.57 :haha:

He does extremely well in SA, Eng and Aus but fails in SC. Good thing in a way, not following his seniors footsteps. :giggle:

Crookbond Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 We now know the real reason! Dinesh Chandimal will also take English lessons and media training in Sri Lanka during the next two months © AFP :hysterical:

jf1gp_1 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 It's about quality over quantity. IPL is just a build up to the SLPL - the pinnacle of T20 cricket! If it werent for Indian money there wouldnt have been SLPL; actually if it werent for BCCI and cricket india your board wouldnt have been able to pay salary to your players, support staff etc (there was a reason why we had to watch play your guys 200 times in the last year or so) so either grow some balls, as a nation take a stand not to touch anything India gives you or learn to be gracious. There is something fundamentally wrong with all our cricket playing neighbors; they want our money, support but act as if they are doing us a favor. Even the afghans think as if BCCI owes them something.
TheWall Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Who s dinesh chandimal? :p This.....:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

game_changerr Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 We now know the real reason! :hysterical: hope he should take some(actually almost all)of the pak cricketers along with him:rofl:
Vilander Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 hope he should take some(actually almost all)of the pak cricketers along with him:rofl: 'Firsht i wad lige to thank almighty Allah..to all muslims in the world we are sorry we lost today'.
Vilander Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 the fact is inspite of warming the benches he would have easily made quite a few bucks without doing anything and it would have been like a paid holiday for the youngster.and he atleast has balls to reject such a huge offer.my point here is to the indian fans who always makes fun of srilankan players income. 100000 is base price prorated on per game played basis ?, i think he would have made a much smaller sum if he was in the bench. I dont think SL would pay him so less that this ammount would seem good, or does it..
yoda Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 If he wants to learn English, no better place than the IPL with lots of players from different countries, they will be forced to speak in English. I suspect the kind of money he was going to get without the craziness of the overbidding at an auction probably made him think twice if it was worth it.
JaFanatic Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Good on him. Won't need another Lahore debacle. stupid stupid post
thongale Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 If India cannot control it's rogue elements, which are taking SL individuals as targets, it's better if all SL players keep off from IPL. If a single attack happens that will be extremely detrimental on the already fragile SL-IND relations.
