oneANDone Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 In international cricket there is always fuss and energy when these teams plays together 1. IND vs PAK 2. AUS vs Eng In similar way the best opponents for IPL is CSK vs RCB
Detonator Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Yeah.. Just visit the RCB website.. it's a closet anti-csk Matches between Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore have been the ones to watch out for, in terms of runs and wickets. Twelve matches between the two teams have produced 3750 runs, the most runs involving any two teams, and 150 wickets, again the highest involving any pair of teams. Source : http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2013/content/current/story/627704.html MI vs CSK is also a good one..
Vilander Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Having a unique view of both bangalore and chennai as a native and naturalized citizen i can say that there is huge dislike for chennai in bangalore and general lack of respect for bangalore in chennai. Both the states have politicized the kaveri issue, there are valid arguments in either side. There have been anti tamil violence in bangalore as well. This makes for perfect rivalery, and the two teams have quite a rivalry. MI vs CSK is more about combat, who is top dog. KKR vs DD also has its moments.

Although i agree with with the general perspective it has never been carried into cricket imo.Been to RCB vs CSK in Bangalore twice and the atmosphere has always been excellent. No animosity btw CSK or Tamil fans either.
gaurav92 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 MI v/s CSK has been enjoyable. The top team of IPL (CSK) v/s Wannabes (MI) :hehe:
Pagalpanti Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 KXIP vs CSK was fun as well for the first couple of seasons.
dibyabttb Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 nothing can beat the kkr vs pwi rivalry last year.
Pagalpanti Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 nothing can beat the kkr vs pwi rivalry last year. PWI had rivalry? :WTF: They were getting beaten left-right-center by every team last year. Unless you mean all the off-field drama about Ganguly-KKR, it was much pre-season though.
ganeshran Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 bevdas are our opponents? :WTF: Has Kohli forgotten the epic thrashing CSK gave him? Those mental scars will take years to heal. CSK is like the Windies of the 80s, the rest of the teams are simply there to make up the numbers.
Khalpat Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 bevdas are our opponents? :WTF: Has Kohli forgotten the epic thrashing CSK gave him? Those mental scars will take years to heal. CSK is like the Windies of the 80s, the rest of the teams are simply there to make up the numbers. Windies did not win any major tournament during 80's. Are you sure, you want to have same analogy.
ganeshran Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Windies did not win any major tournament during 80's. Are you sure' date=' you want to have same analogy.[/quote'] They only lost 8 tests in the whole decade Yes I'm sure. :csk:
Magneto Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 PWI had rivalry? :WTF: They were getting beaten left-right-center by every team last year. Unless you mean all the off-field drama about Ganguly-KKR, it was much pre-season though. We were table toppers after the first 7 games.

adi B Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 i think rcb vs MI have been close contest with a close H2H and both winning at the other` home ground..KX1P vs DD also have been good matches on good pitches.. about the kaveri issue, csk and rcb players dont give a sh1t on the issue or any so called rivalry
Pagalpanti Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 We were table toppers after the first 7 games. And still managed to get the wooden spoon :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Magneto Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 And still managed to get the wooden spoon :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Was MIA post interval :((
ganeshran Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 PWI vs QXIP are the perfect opponents. The Bangladesh vs Kenya of IPL
oneANDone Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 i think rcb vs MI have been close contest with a close H2H and both winning at the other` home ground..KX1P vs DD also have been good matches on good pitches.. about the kaveri issue, csk and rcb players dont give a sh1t on the issue or any so called rivalry Players always dont give sh1t for either international/club level cricket. bcz for them its just a sport.... its poor people who standing outside the rope are only care about win/loss... similar way every RCB-ans wants CSK to loose and vice versa...
