I love him. Whatever he is, atleast he isnt fake. He does what he likes, what he wants to do, what comes to his mind. He isnt a shameless pretender like Mathew Hayden, who scorned on us only weeks before, called our player very unflattering names and right now is in our country, sucking up to us. Unfortunately, if Sreesanth's sentimental outbursts are going to come in the way my team winning, that is when I get really pissed off.

he had so much talent when he came in to be an aggressive bowler...who can give it to the opposition...a rarity in Indian cricket. but he has completely lost both this bowling and aggression now. all he does is curse and do monkey moves, sledging even his own teammates and countrymates. such a waste of talent. the good thing for India is that we have more than enough talented fast bowlers now to replace him.

Right on Bumper, right on. I have always maintained Sreenath did not achieve as much as he could by being just a shade under-aggressive. I suppose it is time to dump Dravid, SRT in there too. Look at it this way, after Sreesanth dismissed Hayden yesteday he did not run along the pitch to the keeper, he charged right at Hayden, hit the ground and then gave Haydos a proper send off. But was that an aberration? Hell no. In last game against Saffers, RP Singh had done exactly that to Shaun Pollock. Lets move to batsmen now, after being sledged by Flintoff Yuvraj first charged at him with pointed bat and then dismissed the next great hope Stuart Broad for 6 sixes. I couldnt help but laugh thinking of Flintoff's sledging against some cr@ppy West Indies plyer that was all over the YouTube, when he met his match he came not even second best but 10th best or whatever. Not to mention how Dhoni humorously, but very firmly put his point across Shastri. Now did I ever, and I mean EVER, see a SRT or a Dravid charge at opposition? Err never! Did I ever see them get sledged and humiliated by opposition? Umpteen times. Moral of the story - this lot doesnt take cr@p. xxx

man just shouting or shaking ur small but doesn't make sreesanth a great player..he is a **** deserved to be slapped and will be a ****..on some days he will perform..if ur hell bent in being aggressive..learn from brett lee,shoiab akhtar and glen mcgrath...sreesanth needs to back up his on field antics with solid performance..right now he looks like a punk rather a bully who cries when someone dishes him the same medicine...serves him right..ahole

Thanks for bumping up a blast from the past. The good old days of proper banter and discussions. It is great to re-read some of these posts. Funny how things rarely change. Even back then the fab 3 were playing the bowlers on their fame/merit(thanks Bumper). Even back then youngsters were atleast trying to lift our team and the dinosaurs sulking. Good thing I had seen the light then and wanted them to retire lol.
