carnish Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Vohra and Sehwag are 1 match wonders. Bisla failed all but 2 matches and one of the was vs csk. Dhoni should be on the list. So should Jadeja. Dhoni is omnipotent ... Features on all list ... So I thought it wasn't required to be mentioned. Sehwag is showing signs of batting well ... hence he is on my list .. Jadeja ... You must be joking

Sehwag is showing signs of batting well ... hence he is on my list .. Jadeja ... You must be joking Jadeja scored 36 * from 12 and finished the match when CSK was losing at a very slow wicket track. Plus he has more 30+ scores. He is consistent at finishing matches. Plus he has one of the highest individual SR of 160 this season. Sehwag is batting at a run a ball except for that one innings against mumbai. He can't score past 20.
Zelig Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Dhobi ka Pujari calls other players FTB :hysterical: :phehehe:
Pagalpanti Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Don't think there's a case here. Hussey trumps Gayle big time.

Ram Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 How the hell is Huss leading this poll? :dontknow::hmmmm2: Make no mistake, Huss' performance has been phenomenal in this year's IPL so far, but that is still no match for Gayle's destructive capabilities. T20 is all about impact plays that alter the momentum of the game - a stunning off-break that dismisses an in-form batsmen, a direct hit run out in a close chase, a spectacular catch in the boundary or a power-packed innings. Chris Gayle is a big an impact player as they come in all of T20 cricket. When he's at the crease, everyone's watching just him, everyone - the opposition players, the home fans, away fans, media etc. He can alter the flow of the game in an over and it T20, that is all it takes - an over of clean hitting. Huss is the better batsmen overall, but Gayle's the best batsmen in all of T20 cricket.

maniac Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Gayle finishes? :cantstop: He is just a FTB and on top of that BFB-batting first bully. Also, can only hit teams like PWI Hussey can set up a good chase or a good target but no way in hell can he take the game away like Gayle can Gayle>Hussey>>>Dhoni in IPL
Ram Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 The poll is only about IPL 6 :dontknow: I am talking about this IPL too. Huss is a good IPL player, but he’s not this good. Clearly, so far in this tournament, he’s playing slightly out of character and exceeded all expectation (even his own, probably). Essentially, it requires an already good player to deliver significantly above expectation to just match Gayle’s level of performance. That’s how good Gayle’s T20 is. RCB is so lucky to have a nuclear weapon like Gayle. They literally do not have to care about their standings, as long as they make the playoffs. Once they get into the knock-outs, Gayle gives them a tremendous chance of progressing all the way.
yoda Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hussey can set up a good chase or a good target but no way in hell can he take the game away like Gayle can Gayle>Hussey>>>Dhoni in IPL How many games does he take away in a season? One or two? What about the rest? Compare that to consistent great batting pretty much every game all through the playoffs.
Pagalpanti Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hussey can set up a good chase or a good target but no way in hell can he take the game away like Gayle can Gayle>Hussey>>>Dhoni in IPL Yeah well we saw how Gayle won RCB the IPL trophy, oh wait.. he choked! Hussey is better than both, Dhoni well he is a finisher, mind you he was the reason CSK won in 2010, if it wasn't for his knock vs KXIP.
1983-2011 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hussey, he performs at home and away, batting first or second
