StriKe Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 United breweries is doing well. The DMK family is losing money and I know that because I live in chennai. You are wrong..DMK is more influential and filthy rich
rkt.india Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 its kingfisher airline, not Malya in crisis. United Brewries revenue is 4 billion..third biggest alcohol company in the world.
Sidhoni Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Rather make the IPL a 8 team league to decide who plays the finals against us :coolsun:
ricky8741 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 As the salary cap increases there will be top 4 teams and other teams
someone Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I am not sure at all where this idea of the big teams started. If you mean metro cities, maybe then it is technically correct but that irrelevant in IPL. There is only one team which can be said different from the rest and that is CSK for their domination in the last 5 seasons. All other teams have faced huge inconsistency with some being at the bottom in 1 season and next season at the very top.

MI has qualified for play-offs every season, and are a rich franchise with dominant players and have made the finals before and have a CL trophy to their name.

Tier 1 should have CSK Tier 2 should have the next 7 teams Tier 3 should be Pune
someone Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 MI has qualified for play-offs every season' date= and are a rich franchise with dominant players and have made the finals before and have a CL trophy to their name. :emc: You need to check your facts again. And certainly their money cannot be used as the reason for their greatness. Rather it is their unlimited money and its utter misuse which has made MI suffer. Their CL trophy which was won only due to some favoritism does not have any relevance to IPL. And dominant players ? :hysterical:
G_B_ Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 while we are talking about money Ambani = Maran + Srini + DMK black money + Mallaya + Rao talk about epic pawnage. If Dhirubhai was still alive, he would probably be worth more than all the other ipl owners put together.
I6MTW Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Ambani has more influence then the DMK for sure. DMK fears Ambani.
Swing_n_Speed Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Talking bout Power; here's a list, Summarized : Mukesh Ambani >>>>>Dhoni> Srinavasan > Kohli > Kalanthi Maran> SRK > Sachin Tendulkar. Vijay Mallya doesn't even figure on the list......that said prior to his Kingfisher Airline debacle, Mallya would always figure amongst India's 100 most influential. http://www.indianexpress.com/fullcoverage/powerful-indians-13/383/ The Marans may be super influential, but does their influence spread outside their hometowns?
G_B_ Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Maran's influence probably is restricted with the AIADMK in power. Plus he does have issues with Azagiri.
