Opponents have taken large targets to the last over and have come up short. Good thing that the playoffs are being moved out of chennai to pitches hopefully which are more helpful to bowlers.

There may be a situation where 50 runs may be needed off 5 overs and they may not be able to defend it.

Ezilkannan Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Bowling is the weakness of CSK. If they don't pick up wickets, they struggle to restrict the flow of runs. Also their bowling at the depth hasn't been so great. They don't often bowl a good over at the depths.

They were put to test yesterday and came out successful against two well-set batsmen of the caliber of Marsh and Miller. Its just that they haven't had too much experience of defending a total since we have chased most of the time.
