The Pakistanis have been at it for a while and are already attained a certain level of sophistication. If they were to play in the IPL our players would never be approached by the bookies (who'd flock to the Pakistanis) and hence our guys would never reach the said level of spot fixing talent and technical know-how. Protectionism has always helped us. Be it in agriculture or cricket.

There is plenty of money to be made and it seems churlish to begrudge our brothers in corruption from next door a piece of the action.

Only difference, instead of laks n crores they probably bribe players with sacks of rice.

Am sure most players in Pakistan domestic league are very hard working, cricket loving youth
