jusarrived Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Rcb has easily the best top order by far , but they have always struggled with the balance if the team ...main reason being lack of quality indian or local players in the squad ..for eg csk has vijay , raina , dhoni , jadeja , ashwin ...hardly any weak links ...rcb has virat and vinay with 5 more spots to fill with jokers like thiwary . Even if they had managed to retian a few local kar players ...out of uthappa , pandey , binny , dravid , gautham they would have had a far stronger squad. Paying Thiwary 1.6 m was the single biggest mistake which cost them yhe playoffs spot this season

Along with Tiwary , buying Pujara also a big mistake. This years blunder is playing Murali in place if Rampaul against our home match with Kings
