Missed double century by 6 runs. Retired 6 years later. A coincidence? Had he had scored the double century could he have kept going?

Salute to the knowledgeable crowd. I think this tournament was fixed by Azhar and co. Funny thing India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka all had an Independence cup. None of them won at their own cup :giggle:

Aqib always did well against us, he has a 7-fer as well I remember well watching this match, the succesive 6's of Kumble (was it four?) and Dravid first ODI ton too! India made a decent fist of the chase...

Saeed anwar smashed 3 sixes to Kumble on 3 ball,s 4th ball Four in chase Dravid played very well But in start of Inning Aqib javed taken wicket of Gangulay/Sachin and send india to backfoot and most important thing pakistan was playing without Wasim/Waqar do u seen Pakistan vs India odi in lahore 1989 on Youtube in which Pakistan team defended 130 runs around Wasim/Waqar/Imran/Aqib Pace attack V India for me Aqib is best Fast bowler in India vs Pakistan matches from either team Aqib deserve respect

Ok well see here, the difference between Sachin and Saed is that, Sachin actually scored 200 and Saed failed once he got to the 190's.

Anwar to be fair was not that much of an FTB. He and Sohail were the first opening duo to score a ton partnership in SA after their reinclusion.

+1 Indian Kid,s ko Malom nahi how much Pakistan dominated india in 1980s/1990s era We were use to beat India in India easily

I know the legend tag is bit easy in Pakistan..so I would believe you Anwar is a legend. But dont tell anyone outside Pakistan :cantstop:
