The tourney is about to start in few days time and many believes that there is no clear favourites to lift the trophy this time round. But who do you think will win it ? i suppose its gonna be team india :--D we have the best batting line up and if our bowling clicks occasionally then i dont see why we cant win it :dontknow:

Australia-looks very vulnerable but they always raise their game in tournaments south africa-no chance plus too many injuries India-top order batting a huge concern,Vijay and Dhawan need to play in a lower gear or we will be in constant peril of a collapse. England-they are toast if they have to play on flat tracks, any team can and will beat them. new zealand-they have a chance, they have some good bowlers, fielding is the best in the tournament and batting is stabilized. SL-will compete on flat tracks but bowling is a question mark. West indies-too inconsistent. They could surprise if they make it out of the group stages. Pakistan-favorites to win the trophy as they have the best bowling lineup.they may be derailed by flat pitches and the Indian team .

If you think about it the winning team basically has to win 4 out of 5 matches. Indias got 3 great odi batsman in raina dhoni and kohli and even though Dhawan and kartik don't have great records or experience they are in the kind of form that it wouldn't surprise anyone if they scored some runs. Even murali vijay on these pitches can make teams pay once he gets in. yadav bhuvi ashwin and jadeja are good enouth. Ishant sharma is the only major worry in the bowling attack. Thats why the selectors might be tempted to play both pathan and jadeja as allrounders because pathan can't play as a specialist bowler. I think India is in pretty good shape compared to other countries.

Say what you want.. weakness in this or that.. India is one of the mentally strongest side in One dayers. That is a huge plus for India compared to teams like Windies, SA, Pakistan.

With the ATG bowling line up of pak it will be difficult to post 300 scores even on these flat wickets.
No, your bowling can do it. 300 ain't that difficult.

Another reason why Pak will win the CT is due to the absence of afridi.
Don't think Pakistan won any multinational ODI trophy with or without Afridi since his debut.

Beat India, obviously afridi was once useful, under woolmer especially, but since 2011 world cup he is no longer required.

If they drop Dernbach for Boycott's granny, England will win it. They seem to have a batting order reliable enough to fire in their home condition and a potent attack. I'd have picked the Saffies in a jiffy but apparently EinSteyn is injured...
