If Zak is not available or not selected it will be a toss up between Praveen, Umesh or any other upcoming seamers. Hope we don't make the same mistake of picking Unadkat. This is going to be one of the most unpenetrative Indian pace attack that ever toured South Africa.

I am far more optimistic in my outlook towards Indian bowling for this series

Only spinners can save us assuming the track offers a bit of spin.

fineleg Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Without a fit and in-form Zaheer Khan, we dont even have an outside chance to get 20 SA wickets and win matches. We need ZK and we need him fit and firing. If both conditions are not met, this series will be a cakewalk for SA. Even with ZK - it will only give us an outside chance.
