King Tendulkar Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 ^^^ If you care to read' date=' am only criticizing the decision to drop BK in an important match. And no matter how you cut it, Ishant is cr@p and will always will be[/quote'] Agree dropping BK was a mistake. But I bet he is glad not to have bowled on this track:giggle:
CSK Fan Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Agree dropping BK was a mistake. But I bet he is glad not to have bowled on this track:giggle: Yeah. Have to feel for Shami, his first chance was on this pitch
Fontaine Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Firstly, I am not talking about not bowling just the yorker. Most Indian pacers don't bowl objectively. They don't try to bowl the deliveries that are apt for the situation but just bowl different types of random deliveries I can understand pacers losing line and length in an attempt to bowl fast although he is trying to bowl the correct deliveries . I would infact prefer it to medium paced line and length bowling. But if the bowler does not know what deliveries to bowl and is not objective in his approach then that is a problem. Secondly, Yadav has been playing IPL for 5 years and International cricket for 2 years. Ishant has been around for 6 yrs. Why have they not practiced bowling yorkers ? Lack of practice is just unacceptable for players representing their country. Most International pacers bowl better yorkers than Indian pacers. What the hell are you talking about? Munaf Patel bowling a perfect cutter to get Razzaq out in the world cup and Nehra raining down 5 yorkers in death bowling in the same world cup knock out stage. Ishant bowling two slower deliveries in the 17th over against England the second one got a wicket. Bowler's know what to bowl, but sometimes that talent/know how isn't there especially for younger bowlers.
rkt.india Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Secondly, Yadav has been playing IPL for 5 years and International cricket for 2 years. Ishant has been around for 6 yrs. I dont think any other than Malinga bowls great yorkers. Thing about yorker is, it needs to be perfect for most time, just a miss and it can go for plenty that is why bowlers try to mix the deliveries or one should have a bowling action which suits bowling yorkers like round arm or slingy.
sekhar Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 i think our future bowling attack should be mohit, bhuvi and aaron...bhuvi will swing and mohit will seam , and aaron is capable of bowling some decent yorkers...yadav should play only in test, and ishant should never be considered again
sekhar Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Agree dropping BK was a mistake. But I bet he is glad not to have bowled on this track:giggle: Agreed but not fully, there was something for the bowlers initially which was not exploited by our pacers (constantly bowling wrong line and length)..i'm sure if bhuvi would have played, it would have been difficult for tharanga to score 10 forget about 174 :giggle: bhuvi is not far from zak wheen it comes to intimidating lhb..:two_thumbs_up:
Gunner Posted July 5, 2013 Author Posted July 5, 2013 Superb aggressive and pacy bowling by Best, bowling 145+ consistently with a top speed of 149 :hatsoff:
vishalvirsingh Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Best is bowling at 149.5K and real dangerous bowling has managed wickets tOo but Is also bowling wide and run giving balls......
vishalvirsingh Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Guys who support Mohit sharma supporters shud feel happy .... I wanna see how fast he bowls as he seems a bit slow to me for International cricket...... VK also bowls Good line n length but he is slow so To me Mohit is similar to VK.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Bhuvi gets gayle.....that's bhuvi"s value. Bhuvi bowling 137 and umesh bowled a bouncer At 143K
King Tendulkar Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Yadav bowling well with wheels. I want him to keep running in and bowling with pace. Only then will he learn to bowl with pace and groove the action to get accuracy as well.
Gunner Posted July 5, 2013 Author Posted July 5, 2013 Yadav 145.2 beat Charles with a lovely outswinger.
Vilander Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Umesh is bowing 3 good balls and 3 bad balls in each over, getting frustrated with him now.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 141.3 by Lambu....... But he looks like he will surely loose his place Sooner than later to upcoming pacers....at this stage even shaMmi looks a better bowler than him.
asterix Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Pace bowling with no surity of getting wickets is just brainless bowling...
saneindian Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Pace bowling with no surity of getting wickets is just brainless bowling... Aap Ishant Sharma fan ho? No pace but lots of wickets recently run do not matter :--D
vishalvirsingh Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Umesh gets bravo.....it seems Indian team have identified their Lead bowlers..... Bhuvi and Umesh.
