We need to play one more pacer outside subcontinent but Dhoni never will cos he fears getting banned. What bhuvi is doing right now is still providing support at death bowling which before these 2 guys used to go for 15 rpo but now a days things are so much better.. I can promise u he will be missed badly once he is dropped and vinay Kumar replaces him...

It's not as if we have Malings, Steyn, Johnson etc. waiting on the sidelines. All we have are koomars, Dindas, Unadkats etc.

No pacer will do worse than Ashwin who averaged 217 in that series.

Btw show me one team in world which does not goes with 4 quick bowlers in conditions like South Africa or New Zealand They either use guy like irfan Pathan or mclaren in case of South Africa and England have guys like white That's why I said that cos we have gotten wickets in first 10 and last 10 overs when bowlers bowled Even in power plays when shami bowled we got wickets but it's in middle overs where one guy averages 90 and other guy averages over 200 where we lost games !

He is not good at the death. Against Pak we got lucky Gul couldn't connect on a length ball. He could have easily gone for runs in that over but luck was on our side.

if only death bowling was about just pitching the ball point is he is very calm and even after getting slogged for boundary his next ball can be spot on yorker so u never see overs more than 10-12 runs when bhuvi is bowling. you cannot land every ball as yorker but he does get vast majority of them in and is never really rattled

Nd ishant after several season is for long run? No one is saying he is better than McGrath but he is easily better than ishant :winky:

Ishant is not for long run but he was more impressive when he started and if and when Bhuvi makes it to second season , Ishant's second season would be better too. As for comparing both of them even now, I would take Ishant . Bhuvi other than taking odd wicket with new ball has nothing. Don't compare Ishant with MJ's and Steyn's of the world. Ishant is already in India's top five fast bowlers ever.

the day bhuvi goes for 30 runs in over..i will start comparing them till then there isn ot even a comparison and great ishant picking wickets is myth he has highest average for bowler who has played number of tests he has and has been utter crap other than few fluke performances maybe u need to stop comparing bhuvan with mcgraths and steyn and take him for what he is and that is very accurate swing bowler who rarely goes for more than 5 rpo which is very very valueable in odis and frankly i will take neither in test matches and i have made my position clear before but in odis there is no way ishant is better bowler and any one who has seen that dumb yeti in action in odis last few season will say same you want comparison ? ishant and bhuvi play together against pak,england and ct and bhuvan easily out performs him every time and same in west indies where ishant did not play i think but bhuvi did well then against australia ishant get raped so badly that he is dropped from team while bhuvi who has not picked wickets has still bowled economically after that ishant has been in and out of team and getting smashedi n every 2nd game he plays while bhuvi has been there bit ineffective but i still cannot point to one performance after which i would drop him even in this asia cup you cannot drop him. i would like him to improve performance but i am used to bowlers going to 15 rpo at end so its welcome change that shami and bhuvi can hold their own and should be persisted with cos replacements like ishant are real tried and tested failures not these guys who are playing first season and still easily out performing likes of ishant who has been here for ages and why should i care about how ishant was at start ? he is pure crap now and that is what counts.

or maybe people here over rated him after he got ideal conditions in first 3 series he played against sides who do not play swing well ? because he is still damn economical and i said this even before that he is not going to keep performing like this for long and that made MTC angry at me :cantstop: problem is see is he does not pitch the ball up much...it worked on tracks he got before with some seam movement and bounce but now he is just not getting tracks with juice and was dropped in south africa after one game so its not like he got fair opportunity .
