he had touched 140 on the domestic speed guns. 140+ in IPL matches. Is a nippy bowler, but with the movement he can use this kind of pace to his advantage. My only concern is the height of the upcoming bowlers. Bhuvi , Sid, Umesh , Aaron, Suyal , Kulkarni. None of them are tall ( .6.1 , 6.2 and above). I feel height is a significant advantage to have along with the other attributes.

height can be good advantage but if shorter bowler is better dont select taller just because hei s taller.. will rather have more bowlers like bhuvi than ishant.. anyway there are some tall bowlers in domestic set up pandey may not be tall like ishant or pankaj but he is tall enough to be not called midget pankaj singh is very tall.. now baout sid kaul i liked his bowling he was very good with new ball and reversed the old ball but still has long way to go one more good season will do him wonders im totally against selecting bowlers who had just one good season i will rather select some one like pankaj who has been very good for such a long time

Ankola was quickest bowler in India at one time,he was unfortunate to have a back fracture,which ruined his carrier.
