Perhaps Dhawan was a poor selection that paid off. I.e. You have two procedures of selection. Procedure one produces 1 star out of 10 selections (Dhawan). Procedure two produces 4 stars out of 10 selections (e.g. Rohit, Pujara, Rahane, Manoj). The idea of a poor selection paying off seems to boggle the mind of some people though, but it is certainly food for thought.

Absolutely nothing KP-esque about him........Pandey is too braindead a batsmen.........Don't get me wrong.......I had high hopes for him a few years back.......he has just horribly regressed over the years.........fake swagger doesn't make one a dominating batsmen.......

i understand folks here are disappointed with his IPL performances. But his 1st class performances have been top notch. That was the reason of advocating keeping him in contention so that he stays confident and motivated to reach the Indian Team. Board should show some leadership skills and develop a talent which is promising

maybe rather than RCB he needs to join a smaller team like Kings or Royals (assuming they remain a team) that way he will be guarenteed some chances.
