Texan Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Fun to watch them struggle so much after their dominance over a decade and a half :yay: How long do you think their losing streak will go on? What is the record for an Australian side? I'm pretty sure this must be a new record for them. :giggle: Personally, I don't think they will get white-washed in the Ashes though. They'll definitely win or draw a Test match at some time.
Crookbond Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 mohanstatsman: Since beating India 4-0 in January 2012, Australia in their last 15 Tests have lost 7, won 5, drawn 3 #Ashes #EngvAus mohanstatsman: Most Test losses in a row for Australia 7 (1885-1888) 6 (1984) 6* (2013) 5 (1926-1929) #Ashes #EngvAus

So pretty close to a record for them. Beating a 100+ year old losing record for Aus would be something to cherish for India, England. :cantstop:
Texan Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 they should win or draw at home :agree: They'll probably still end up losing the Ashes at home too. Their batting is just not there. They need some sweeping changes - getting Katich back will be one of them.
StriKe Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Whitewash in England and they might draw a match in Aus... Katich and Mike Hussey better than whole batting unit..
cowboysfan Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 no way can they win in australia, their batting has fallen off the cliff.
Texan Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Whitewash in England and they might draw a match in Aus... Katich and Mike Hussey better than whole batting unit.. Even Agar, Starc and Mitchell Johnson can bat better than this top order. They seem to be competing with Pakistan and Bangladesh for the worst batting unit of the year.
Texan Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 no way can they win in australia' date='their batting has fallen off the cliff.[/quote'] They still have a fairly good record at home. I think it will be a fairly even contest there, especially if Watson can get going as an opener.
SLICKR392 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 No way they are getting white washed and no way are they gonna win the series in Australia.
Sachin=GOD Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 of the 8 remaining Ashes Tests I expect Aus to lose at least 5 and Eng may lose 1 (2 if Aus perform spectacularly).
Bleed-Blue Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I Think they may win one test out of the 10 test matches
