The Outsider Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I already said that he is not comfortable with 2002, you are again digging up the same thing. Why dont you see these interviews: What's with your exception policy for 2002? You think if he becomes PM, the international media will not ask him about 2002? What is he going to do then - cry like a b!tch "I have to ressht" like he did in the Karan Thapar interview? Let me know if Rahul, Mulayam, Manmohan, Mamta, Sharad , Advani or anyone else have so much knowledge about the policies. Let me know when you find anything remotely as embarrassing on them as the Karan Thapar interview of Modi. "Dostana Dostana" :hysterical:
Khalpat Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 What's with your exception policy for 2002? You think if he becomes PM, the international media will not ask him about 2002? What is he going to do then - cry like a b!tch "I have to ressht" like he did in the Karan Thapar interview? My exception policy :haha:. Its not my exception policy friend its his. He is never comfortable with the answers for that riot may be he do not want to give any statement may be some inner guilty consciousness or anything it can be. The Thapar interview was something about which I have heard that Modi had put a condition before Thapar that he will not answer about the riots and Thapar agreed to it but as soon as the interview started he started asking the questions about the same so Modi said he will quit. Let me know when you find anything remotely as embarrassing on them as the Karan Thapar interview of Modi. "Dostana Dostana" :hysterical: No they have not given me chance as they have never given any one to oneinterview. But your point was different you said first Modi has not given one to one interview which I suppose you will now take back the statement right as he has given to each and every news channel as posted by me. Second is you are saying he is as stupid or even more than Rahul while giving speeches or interviews. About this I will only ask you to go through Google + interview of 2 hours with people all around the globe. I think you might be wrong. Anyways a buffoon or whatever you call him without any family background or political background has become the most popular contestant for PM of the biggest democracy. He is hugely popular among young college goers and young educated proffessionals. Do you really think he is in the same league of Rahul Gandhi.

First, Modi should not and will not get to decide what the subject matter in the interview will be about. Second, I don't think it was ever said "he has not given 1-to-1 interviews". Highlighting the relevant bits for you. In comparison to rally speeches, Modi gives very few 1-to-1 interviews. In absolute terms' date=' yeah Modi is better but look at Modi's experience compared with Rahul Gandhi's. In the WSJ interview, he bungled on malnutrition. [b']Also, he gives so few interviews that the sample size is quite small, but he has made some major gaffes. 2002 should not be a surprise subject for him - it's a given he will be asked about it in any one on one interview. What policies will Akhilesh Yadav talk about? Are there any? :giggle: Sure, whatever you say. The thread is about Sonia Gandhi and her media spin doctoring, you bring in interviews of Rahul Gandhi and that's very relevant. I respond by addressing the paucity of interviews by the current face of the opposition and it becomes irrelevant. Looks like some top notch spin doctoring. :nice: How many TV debates and interviews does Modi come in? Fact is both are babbling fools when it comes to one to one interviews. Modi might be a good orator when it comes down to speeches where all he has to is yell rhetoric at junta already high on his koolade, but as evidenced by his Karan Thapar interview, the WSJ malnutrition interview, and the Reuters kutte ke bachche interview, he is nothing more than a baboon when it comes to one to one interviews.

You are obsessed with Modi. You must have a lot of bad dreams and little sleep I assume And one of things about Modi is he is one of most accessible politicians in our country. Compare that with tons of Congress leaders who are very much protected. And if anything, he has never hidden from public sight giving interviews and being on public platform. There are many one on one interviews with Modi where Modi has given answers and replies to tough and all sorts of questions. Giving one or two examples and that also putting out of the context, shows your selective thinking and how conveniently you forget tons of interviews and public platforms.

Even, how there has been a pro-longed hate campaign against him, you would want to believe that he will be hiding. Yet, he is more than available to talk and discuss. That's a good political characteristics.
The Outsider Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 My exception policy :haha:. Its not my exception policy friend its his. Your exception policy in the sense that you don't seem to use 2002 as a metric to judge him. When talking about riots and law and order under Modi, you say except for 2002 it has been good. Now talking about his performance in interviews you say except for 2002 it has been good. 2002 is a very important subject with regards to Modi, and yet you seem to draw an exception to it while judging him. You didn't address my point about what will he do when he is questioned on it if he becomes PM? What kind of leader is he that he refuses to talk about a seminal event during his time as CM? Don't you think the public is entitled to honest answers on the issue from him beyond the rhetoric of rallies and speeches? No they have not given me chance as they have never given any one to oneinterview. But your point was different you said first Modi has not given one to one interview which I suppose you will now take back the statement right as he has given to each and every news channel as posted by me. I never said he has not given any one to one interviews. I said he gives very few and stand by it. Moreover, the understanding in those interviews seems to be nothing on 2002 or at the most some mild and banal questions. How seriously am I supposed to take these "fixed" interviews? And it's not just 2002, he made a fool of himself in the WSJ interview on malnutrition as well. Second is you are saying he is as stupid or even more than Rahul while giving speeches or interviews. About this I will only ask you to go through Google + interview of 2 hours with people all around the globe. I think you might be wrong. Being the most popular candidate for PM means nothing if you can't become the PM.

I do not think anything is wrong in that. Secondally please post me link of 1-1 interview of any big leader of India any by any means any like Manmohan, Rahul, sonia, Advani, Mulayam, Mayawati, Karunanidhi, Pawar, dost most of the big leaders do not give 1-1 interview as their party is not comfortable in exposing their big leaders in front of journalists. I know you guys treat Modi as exception for everything be it riot or encounter or anything but if you see the count its not too less I mean wat sample size Outty wants. He has given 2 hour interview on G+, 1 hr interview to Arnab, Seedhi Baat on Aaj Tak, Aapki Adalat on India TV etc along with India Today conclave what more sample size is needed.
diga Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 bringing in Modi into every thread shows the insecurity of the so called "secularists"... @Outy: Since Khalpat has given the links to atleast some interviews by Modi, would you do the honor of posting atleast 1 interview of Mr.Gandhi or Ms.Gandhi?

Example - Reuters; If Modi has the noble deed of not interfering with the court proceedings then I see no reason for opening up his mouth.

And were has he said anything, he was asked by the interviewer are you hurt by what happened and he answered yes of course by giving a stupid analogy. That's it. I am saying the same thing he is not at all comfortable while answering the questions related to riots so either he avoids it like by moving out of the interview or he gives some stupid or weird answer not sure why? Other then that he is quite brilliant in handling questions and he has really good and detail answers of the policies.

Like I said earlier, if he wants to avoid in order to not interfere in the court proceedings - he should shut shop completely. Most of those so called "policy" answers are when there is a 1-to-many conversation. On a 1-to-1 conversation, he's had many gaffes and these were well documented.

I mean in G+ which answer you think was not given properly. or in Arnab Goswami show what has he answered incorrectly. Please comeup with quotes.

Please comeup with quotes. Like in the Reuters or with Karan Thapar. In fact, his rally speeches too have a lot of gaffes - the china GDP comment and the milk production comment. So, that is 4 times out of 4 different speeches.
