^Do u know Mishra averages 40+ in India? In that England series Kohli was outbatted by Ashwin and Kohli too has sucked overseas.

Sucked as if he has played a lot over seas compared to other bats. He is still our best bat whom you can expect to be the best bat in future overseas. Same can't be said about any of our bowler. He has earned his spot in test side. again, let me tell you. The word is "Earned"

Yes, he has earned no doubt, but Kohli is overall a better player. And thanks for brining a batsman between the talks of two spinners. Great job on that for dragging off topic.

No..I was just pointing out ur double standard' date='Thanks.[/quote'] Double standards for who? I haven't really put anyone better than the other. I haven't really said Ashwing sucks and be dropped forever or anything like that. I personally am not a big fan of any of them. The only current bowler whom I can back a bit for a longer period is probably Bhuvneshwar Kumar. All I said, when someone is attacking, Mishra is our best option. Never really mentioned his is the best to be picked for test team, though won't mind seeing him in Indian team. Don't become like some of the other keyboard abusers sitting in India who just come out and bash people on twitter and on cricinfo comments section without any forethought or misquoting.

In India, all our spinners have done well, including MIshra in the past.
This is not true. My point is against England, Kohli was also a failure and I dont abuse anyone over Internet.

Both should play. There is no need to play 3 seamers every single game despite them getting hammered (with the exception of B Kumar) time and time again. Ishant should be dropped and Mishra should play instead. We should play 3 seamers only on pitches assisting the quicker bowlers.

its not going to happen unless we play on a rank turner, the 2 new balls and powerplays mean we will ALWAYS play 3 fast bowlers.

Ishant got whacked left, right and center every time he came on to bowl. It doesn't make much sense playing 3 seamers when spinners are our forte.

MIshra best option when getting attacked. Jadeja is on a honemoon period. Don't know how long it will last. Right now he is doing good wit the bat and that form of his and confidence is shown in his bowling. Few matches without wickets and not much runs will put him on a radar and if India los along with him not performing, will basicallyl mean Bye Bye to Jadeja for couple of years. In test matchs, no one has really cemented his place. Ashwing has sucked too overseas. In India, all our spinners have done well, including MIshra in the past. Ashwin was outbowled by English spinners on our own ground, something which hasn't happend in ages. Infact Ojha outbowled Ashwin at home during that 2-1 series loss at home to England.
Ashwin could not play for Delhi else he would have got some support from you as well.

If Mishra had played in the England tests we may actually have won that series. But selectors chose Harbhajan singh:facepalm:

They are struggling againist Smith.England are piss poor againist wrist spinners.
A total of 4 wickets by Smith with 3 wickets in one innings is not "struggling".

mishra played two test matches in england you better look at his figure and decide third test 150 runs for 3 wickets 43 overs (not bad ) fourth test swann took 9 wickets even raina managed 2 wickets :hysterical: mishra figures were 38 overs 170 runs no wickets he is simply not good against good team first match he wil get all his wicket with his variation but next match people start reading his variation easily zim is piss poor they still have not found him

He bowled continously in one innings only.Else he doesnt get a bowl. But whenever he got a bowl the English batsmen struggled.

So on basis of one innings/match he is rubbish. What did Bhajji did to get back into the test side?I will take Mishra over bhajji anyday.
