exactly..he`ll always remain 2nd fiddle to anderson and swann. barbie avgs close to 32,wkts/match is 3.3 which is pretty ordinary,against quality opposition he mostly struggles

him and bresnan are pretty similar. decent support bowlers. Their main attack is Anderson/Swann who are very good.

Broad is somebody the England management looks at as somebody who can be a support for Jimmy Anderson and also chip in with 20s and 30s on a regular basis. While he sucked in India. He had a good series with the ball in SL and UAE. He is only 27 and should play about 40 tests more and reach the 100 mark in the next 5 odd years as he is injury prone. If he can up his batting IMO he can end up with better figures than Freddie Flintoff in test cricket.
