As far as I am concerned, it is impossible to have a general view of disdain and contempt for women on one hand and then claim to love and respect your mom/sister/wife etc on the other.

Talking about gaaliyas, there are few disrespectful ones directed to men as well. I have few female friends who use these words and I'm quiet certain that most of us here have such folks, too. In such a case, I'm not sure why have these arguments on the first place.
