maniac Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 But on Topic,He is going to be the top run getter in what might be a not-so-great series overall for us. All focus will be on him and maybe the coach, where as Captain Cool will escape scott free despite mediocre performance in all departments
India-KXIP fan Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I like where this is going :--D :agree: Time for a younger player to come into middle order. Preferably someone with international experience, solid technique and temperament. As Rohit has shown with his battling 50's in tough conditions. His FC average also shows the longer format is his best format.
vijay50 Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Tendu will play like Rohit.Make some 30s and get out.
adi B Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 No way' date=' not possible. Im a SRT fan, but no way. He wouldn't have enough skill at this age. Hope he gets injured or something and India have new No.4. If he plays his average will be below 35 definitely.[/quote'] :cantstop:

I mean how can you even think about it and want that to happen. And you call yourself Tendulkar Fan? I mean as much fun I have seeing Pakistan lose, I won't even want a pakistani player getting injured. I mean why do you want to hope someone getting injured. This is the most ridiculous thing someone can say. and among all you are asking for Tendulkar to get injured.
saneindian Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 4 more months to go. Who knows we may see an announcement being made after CLT20 :P If he does decide to carry on, difficult to see him maintain the high standards of last tour. Like the last Aus series in Aus, will play a couple of brilliant 50s amidst a lot of double digit scores.
Yoda-esque Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 And i like where this is going :). :cantstop: Everybody comes to ICF with an agenda.
CSK Fan Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I like where this is going :--D Bah, he just stole the idea from someone better at this thing. Has been done years before, KXIP is trying to get some attention http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=151596&highlight=injury
King Tendulkar Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 I would love to be proved wrong . Love it Can Sachin once more STFU everyone. Even his fans now say he is finished. But dont rule him out once more confounding experts and critics. The guy is special. If he can pull this off.....
CSK Fan Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 ^^^ Well, you did your duty by creating this thread and OP. Now it's upto Sachin

Like the last Aus series in Aus, will play a couple of brilliant 50s amidst a lot of double digit scores. On the contrary. I think this will be the first time he will come so fresh into an overseas tour. Usually he would come after having a just a decent amount of rest, but this time he would have a good pleasant mind before he reaches south africa and start practicing there. I think it's an exciting time for INdian cricket where it's most popular player ever will be returning with a total fresh mind. I can feel lots of lots of runs coming. South Africa will be taken apart. Tendulkar won't be rescuing us this time on another overseas tour, he will actually lead us to a series victory. Then in New Zealand, England and Australia. and then he will call it quits.
cricfan123 Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I guarantee that he will be among top 3 scorers for India:two_thumbs_up:
maniac Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I guarantee that he will be among top 3 scorers for India:two_thumbs_up: The other 2 being Ashwin and one of Rat/Dhawan :cantstop:
maniac Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Can SRT outscore Ashwin/Bhuvan will be the big question....... Outscoring Mooli,Chepu,Dhoni,Sir R.J,2 Tail wickets(Umesh,Ishant/Zak) in S.A will be a cakewalk. Rat and Dhawan....SO SRT can go a notch below his current form and still can be a minuimum of 5th Highest scorer on current form :giggle:
adi B Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 The other 2 being Ashwin and one of Rat/Dhawan :cantstop: no tailunt? :((
FischerTal Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 May not get any oppuruntiy :(( there is a god :yay::yay:
carnish Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 no tailunt? :(( One Mumbai batsman at a time. Too much talent and no temperament will make India a team easy to beat.
